Long life, Good price
These batteries are as good, or better than any I have purchased in the past. I have a Cochlear BAHA 6 sound processor. They last, on average, about 9 days. I don't understand the critical reviews about the child proof packaging. These are easy to open with the standard wheel where you can pop out one at a time.

These give me an extra day or two per battery.
I have really high powered RIC (Receiver in the Canal) hearing aids which look like rather large behind the ear hearing aids. I have been using iCell Tech batteries as well as Power Ones which are a bit cheaper. I only got about 2-3 days use out of the batteries I was using. I was at my audiologists's and he gave me a card of these Rayovac Extra Advanced batteries to try. I did and was surprised that I could get at least four days use from them if I wore my aids for about 8-10 hours a day. I figured they were twice the cost of the ones I was using so probably not a good deal but I found them here for just a couple of dollars more per 60 batteries. These batteries do give me at least an extra day, sometimes two, than the cheaper batteries I was using. Because my aids take so much power to work, it can get really costly changing the batteries every couple of days. In fact, I found myself not wearing my aids at home to save on battery cost. That is NOT how it is supposed to be. These are very well priced and have an expiration date of 2019. not that they will last more than a few months but it's good to know they have a long shelf life. They arrived in a bag, not a box, kind of tossed in but I placed them in a box of my own and all is well. I am pleased with these batteries. They don't give me loads of extra days but every extra day adds up and lowers my price per battery. I also haven't had dead batteries when using Rayovac like I have had with the lower priced brands I have been using. I'm sticking to these for now. If a more powerful battery comes along, I know my audiologist will inform me and I will look into them. Right now, these last longer then any I have tried - not by a LOT but enough to justify the couple dollars extra for 60 versus the cheaper brands.

Good Batteries in a Horrible Package
I have been using these batteries for years. They are good and usually last for over a week in my hearing aids. However they have a new packaging which can only be described as horrible. It takes an industrial shears to create a slit in the double plastic case, this is followed by a sharp knife to begin prying apart the two layers, followed by two pairs of pliers to grip the layers and try to separate them. It takes 5 to 15 minutes to access a battery! No doubt this new packaging was prescribed by lawyers to avoid suits by parents whose small child could potentially access the batteries in the old style case. They didn't take into account that most hearing aids are worn by elderly people with arthritic fingers and failing eyesight.

hard to open, bu then, they all are now
They're fine batteries, but with new regulations all the hearing aidsincluding these are now in difficult to open packages which do not have instructions, just a tiny scissors symbol. I find the only way I can get the batteries out is by using scissors to cut from the edge to the center, in a pie shape, then pry apart the end that was at the center of the package. Apparently needing scissors to get the batteries out is now a requirement.

Ready access
These batteries were made before they had to be child resistant. That's a win win to me, cause I don't have to cut the package apart to get 1 out

Packaging awful, great battery. Consider carefully your purchase.
The battery itself is fantastic. Well made. However have no choice to rate it poorly due to the packaging. Whatever weird reason for child proofing this ridiculous. No way to open it, no matter how manufacturer states to open, with scissors is a joke. More injuries have occurred since packaging 'child proofing' in any time in my life! I have had change to a different brand (Duracell) that has better, USEABLE packaging. No necessarily better product.
