I have an android head unit on my 2012 tundra as well as a start-x remote start system that tees into the obd2 port. I tried numerous Bluetooth adapter and a couple usb ones but this is the only one I was successful in connecting with Torque Pro. All the others would show the adapter connect for a second then when it tries to connect to the ecu, the adapter would disconnect. This cycle would continue forever. My head unit is android 13. I used this one to code both my 2018 BMW 530e and 2016 BMW X5. It works flawlessly, and is easy to connect and setup through an iPhone. Compared with the one I used to have from "Automatic", which I purchased for $99 and forgot to pull it out before I sold my Audi Q5, this one has a much more reasonable price and faster response, thanks to the Wifi interface instead of Bluetooth.

I can’t get it to connect by WiFi or by Bluetooth. The directions are not helpful. I downloaded several apps all recommended in the user guide and none of them work with this device. There is a QR code on the device itself which leads to another app which is very poorly designed and also doesn’t work. For reference I have a 2019 Buick enclave.

Initial Review: Does not work with iPhone 10 and 2014 Jeep Wrangler. Ordered a different model. (2 stars) Update: returned to Amazon and ordered the one that specifically says 4.0 BLE. Update: This new model with 4.0 BLE works like a charm! Received in mail and paired OBD JScan app for App Store. Now my JKU is happy and shift points are much improved! It was a bit of a headache initially but now that I have this model I am COMPLETELY satisfied! Buy this cheap little gizmo and pair it with an app and skip paying for super chips. Now.. I’ll give it 4 stars. If I had been wise enough to buy the right one the first time it would easily be a 5 star review. Yes, I’m at fault there but I’m deducting a star for the ad write up not being very helpful to know the difference between the two items. Works perfectly. Check engine light came on and with the use of this item I was able to find out what the problem was before I took the car to the shop. Auto repair confirmed the problem and fixed it.

This product worked excellent on my 2014 JK Wrangler alongside my iPhone for accomplishing multiple tasks such as programming keys, changing headlight settings and DRL settings, changing tire size, and my gear ratio after regearing my Jeep!
