My JBL charge 3 would only play while plugged in to outlet. I looked on YouTube for installation help. So glad I purchased this to bring my charge 3 back to life! Only took 10 min and new battery lasts longer than when it was new.

YouTube makes this easy to accomplish
Worked fine, replacement was easy with YouTube guidance. Got rusty screws? Soak them in vinegar, then rinse with 90% alcohol, good as new. Easy peasy done in ten minutes. Speaker doesnโt crackle anymore on high volume.

Good replacement
Replaced the battery in my daughterโs speaker. Now the house is jumping! The battery holds a charge and was easy to replace once you open the speaker. Watch a video.

It is as advertised
Easy peasy, lemon breezy. The battery for JBL Charge 3 comes with a little metal spatula to lift plastic tabs and a screwdriver for the tiny screws. Unless you already have a small tipped screwdriver, this tool is very much needed.

A new battery is a better choice than buying a new speaker
There are instruction videos on-line that show you how to replace the batter in a JBL Charge 3. This battery was a perfect fit and after installing it, it restored a great portable speaker. A little do-it-yourself is better than throwing out an otherwise fine product.
