Has about 18 charges. I haven't.. tried it on myself (yet?) so I don't know if it stings, but how the gel looks; It would for sure keep idiots away! Quality is great! Squirts far so its powerful. Compactable enough to carry in your purse or if necessary attached to your hip. This is by far cheaper then going to Walmart or a local store to pick one up. Unlike Spray. Pepper Gel tends to make the eye burn even worse and harder to get out of their eye, so it gives people more time to call the authorities, or protect themselves and get away from a toxic environment. Tools like these are not toys!!!! I have bought this for my mother, along with a couple friends that are independent. Be sure to try it out, and be aware on how to use it. Stay safe everyone!

Haven't had to use it yet so I can comment on the actual spray, but the clip is really loose and doesn't stay on a belt or purse strap or waistband or anything, so it's frustrating to carry. It falls off a lot and I'm worried it's going to burst when it hits the ground at some point so unless I can figure out a better solution to clip it, I might just shelve it for now. But it hasn't gone off accidentally so that's better than some other pepper sprays already so I'm glad for that. If I ever need to use it, I'll be sure to update my review.

Great size

I was walking my dogs a couple of nights ago when I was assaulted. This stuff did the trick. My neighborhood watch chief recommends it as well.

This stuff works! My dog has been attacked three times so I bought this to deter any others. A spray next to a dog from my other spray has stopped one other dog but they could get too close for comfort. Today a very aggressive pit bull got out and charged us. A side shot didn’t slow it down so while the dog was still well over 6’ away I had to spray his face. As much as I hate the idea of hurting the dog having it hurt me and mine is worse. He stopped dead in his tracks and ran back to his yard to rub his orange face in the grass. The dye is great since you are able to see where it hit! At least the owner didn’t scold me, but the owner also ignored his poor dog, the reason it had a chance to charge us in the first place. If this can stop a very aggressive pit bull from its prey (my dog) then I’m sure it’ll stop a person or bear. It only took under a 1 second spray so there’s plenty left over. If we run out, or when this expires, I’ll be buying more! Thanks for stocking this and keeping me and my dog safe!
