Good binding to the frame. Large pole so it can be easily seen. Replaced a first purchase that was cheaper, smaller and hard to attach. I'd recommend have the flag inside the boat instead of outside in case (or when) the plastic screw that holds the flag tight in the mount drops out of your hand (in the boat instead of in the water)

We used to hold our safety flag up manually when a boarder was in the water after falling or getting ready to start. It was a real pain to keep the flag visible to other boats, my arm would get tired or I'd forget to keep holding it up. But then I found the Flag Buddy. I wasn't sure how well it would work but after the first use, my entire family keeps talking about what a game-changer the Flag Buddy is. It's so easy and convenient to keep our flag elevated and visible to other boaters.

It works, however during movement or wind it gets pushed around a bit. The flag also fell out a coupe of times even after we tightening the screw for it. You get what you pay for and I didnt want to pay the three $$$ for a similar product thats all aluminum.

We have always bought these for our boat. Absolutely worth the money. They make it so easy for other boaters to see and easy for everyone not to forget to put the flag up when your rider is in the water! We have two on the top of our tower and one for the windshield. We would recommend both versions as they are all durable and do the job!

I've just completed my second season using this mount. It is mounted to the wake tower of my Regal 22 bowrider. The tower is constructed of 1-7/8" aluminum tubing. it is held securely and does not slip in use. The flag is well made and shows no wear at all at this time. This is a great mount if your anchored and want to display your orange flag with swimmers in the water. I can recommend this product without reservations.

Fit on my Yamaha Jet Boat tower without any issues. We are seen on the lake now and other boaters safely know we have someone in the water!

This seems to be a great route for our tower, as it's mostly rectangle tubing. Just added and launched the boat this week, so really haven't used it yet, but it looks like it's going to be super solid! I did have to add some weatherstripping adhesive to the inside mounting as the tightest adjustment wasn't close enough to being solid. Did that and it worked good. Also mounted this towards the top of the tower, so now my flag is about 2 feet above the top bimini and tower - which is a massive upgrade to my previous window suction cup flag.
