I wanted to replace my 26W aerogarden grow lights so I tried these lights that are 25W. It is very bright and perfect as a grow light and for seed starting, but I noticed within the first 5 minutes of it on that the metal base became untouchably hot. If it is meant to be this hot, then I question it's durability. The first photo has a 1 year old bulb on the left and a new bulb on the right. The old bulb that had been on for 16hrs per day went out 1 year after installing it in my aerogarden. It began to blink a week and a half prior, and got very dim on its last day of use. I noticed that the brightness overall does become dimmer as it is used, so it will only create the brightness as advertised at the beginning of use, and gradually dim as the months go on.

Very bright bulbs that will illuminate the whole room. After several months of use, they still look great, with no individual LED failures.

Purchased and installed 3 of these in June 2025. First one failed early March 2026 and the second one failed last night (March 24 2026). The lights are only on less than an hour each day so not very old in terms of how long LED bulbs should last.

Ok I am updating review. The product is as advertised, I bought to replace a trio of bulbs that one went bad. The color upon installing them was a bit warm. Went back to the two good old bulbs. Recently the second old bulb failed. I used these bulbs. Yes upon first using them they are a bit warm on the color temp, but I said it was what it was. After the bulbs are in use for a couple hrs the color temp ( 6500k ) was there. This is a good product that is as advertised. Great support too. I will buy again. I felt I needed to adjust my review on this product due to a few negative reviews due to the color temp needing a burn in. Thank you for the product and amazing support. Used these in an outdoor patio fixture to replace spiral fluorescent bulbs. These don’t flicker at all, and become bright immediately. Also, These seem better suited for outdoor lighting where bugs get attracted to the bulbs. The older spiral fluorescent bulbs have a tendency to collect dirt and bugs in the middle of the spirals. I don’t expect that to happen with these bulbs, and “watt for watt” these seem at least as bright as the older fluorescent bulbs.
