Would this switch work on a 24vdc system? it would be drawing well under 10a, likely under 5a even.

It can be used at 24V, but it cannot be used for a long time. If it is used for a long time, the lamp will be broken, so it is best not to use it at 24V

Can this be used as a PC power switch?

I would say no. The on/off switch on a PC is a momentary switch.

Anyone else find that the cover doesn't fit over switch???!!!

I have had no problems with the covers not fitting over the switch I have one in my 01 Ford F-250 superduty
