Very solid build and superb quality . Your weight pulls down at the hinge which tightens the pincer squeeze on the door frame. Building codes require that weight bearing walls have door frames as strong as the wall. That usually means double beams on the sides and over the top inside the wall. Heavy duty silicone inserts prevent wall or door frame damage. I am 6 ‘1” , and yes, I need to bend my knees in dead hang but that is a small price to pay for a perfect piece of portable exercise equipment. I got some different climbing cord and changed this to a hammer grip which is personally easier on my elbows. I put some epoxy glue on the knot and stuffed the knot it into the handle.
