My wife was working, so I installed it alone, using duct tape to hold the outside handle in place, and I still managed to install it with the handles the wrong way. I wanted them horizontal when UNLOCKED for ease in opening the door. I managed to put in wrong TWICE! LOL. Because to access the screws on the inside it has to be in the locked position, so when I unlocked it after installation the handles were in the WRONG position! MY BAD, and had nothing to do with the product. I managed to get it right finally, and it works great!
