It does not come with screws. I was missing several screws that I bought replacements for at Lowes.

What kind of material is the shield constructed? Hard plastic?

It's some kind of a compressed composite material. Not plastic. Quite common to see them made out of this material

yes they did on my 2019 Sorento with the 4cyl motor
