Very sharp. Effective for a small yard or garden for the price.

Exceptionally pleased. I bought the shorter one and, for the price, was expeting cheap quality metal. At roughly 2/3 the price of the competitors, it's everything I need for my lawn and for my wife's crops. I was about to give up searching because every competitor was in the $20+ range and I couldn't understand how a steel sampler would be priced that high. Was ready to buy one at $18.99 when this pone popped into my browser screen. Very glad of this purchase. It's everything a sampler should be at a reasonable price.

Works really well . If the soil is compacted and wet the sample wants to hang up in the cylinder but that's to be expected

Perfect for taking multipule deep soil samples through out the yard without having to deal with a spade. Hopefully this will provide a more accurate soil test results.

We do a soil test at least twice a year front yard and back. Never knew there was such a tool. On a whim I just googled to see. Cool I love it. We had been using a shovel or bulb planter. Holes were kind of big. This is better. Thanks!

Better than the plastic spoon I was using before! But hard to use if ground is super dry

Good core samples but dont rely on the supplied soil collection bags to hold a sufficient amount of soil for proper lab tests.
