My Diabetic Cat Loves It
My guy has diabetes, we had tried ALL the prescription diabetic foods and he snubbed every one. Then our vet recommended we give OM a try and he loves it! I can’t speak to its effectiveness for weight loss as we’re more focused on maintaining current weight, but the fact that he eats it and likes it is a huge win! Definitely worth a go, especially if you have a picky eater. Smells okay. Good value for money and the quality. Good portion size.

Bought this because my cat’s vet gave me “the look” at his last weigh-in. These wet food cans are portioned for weight management but still smell and taste appealing to cats. My picky eater actually finishes his plate. Pros: _ Formulated for healthy weight management _ Savory chicken flavor cats enjoy _ Portion-controlled 5.5 oz cans _ Balanced nutrition for adult cats _ Trusted Purina Pro Plan quality Cons: _ Pricey compared to regular wet food _ Strong smell (cats love it, humans… less so) _ Needs refrigeration after opening _ May not work miracles without overall diet changes

Super Soupy Cat Food for Chonky Cats
I have two overweight cats, and it was recommended by my vet to try a cat food to help get their weight in control. In addition, my male cat has bladder issues, and is supposed to have a diet heavy on wet food, with an emphasis on "wet." Honestly, I am just trying out a few different foods to see what my cats will eat, and this one was a resounding success. This OM wet food looks like a stew in the can, with chunks of meat in quite a bit of gravy. One can is plenty for splitting between two cats, so I feel like I'm getting a better value with these large cans than I do with smaller cans. I've been so pleased to see that the cats, especially my male cat, love to lap up the gravy first when eating this food, and seem to find it delicious. The gravy definitely meets my need to keep the cats hydrated. Then, after the gravy, the cats eat the meat chunks if they're still hungry (yes), but because this is made to target their weight issues, I don't worry as much that they're overdoing it.
