DURASACK Green Sand Bags

These DURASACK heavy duty sandbags have been incredibly useful for flood protection around my property. The woven polypropylene material is noticeably thick and durable - much better quality than the cheap sandbags I've used before. The tie strings are securely attached and make it easy to seal the bags once filled. I appreciate that they come empty so I can fill them with sand or gravel as needed without dealing with heavy pre-filled bags. The bags hold up well when filled to capacity without tearing or leaking. I've had them stacked outside for a few weeks now and they're holding up great against sun and rain exposure. The UV resistance seems legitimate. They're sized perfectly for creating effective flood barriers or erosion control. The material doesn't degrade quickly like burlap bags do. Great for emergency preparedness, construction sites, or landscaping projects. Excellent value for the quality and quantity you get.

Very strong and useful!

My horses like to rearrange arenas, shelters, etc. They use teeth, hooves, body weight, and anything they have. These bags look flimsy and weak but have held up to 2 naughty boys, several rainstorms, and three dust storms without showing any wear. They did not fully stand up to the pig, but that is to be expected--and just has a spot that was opened, NOT destroyed. That was a win in my book. Will be buying again when I need to reinforce the rest of the arena.

They were reasonable and sturdy enough for my needs. Filled 12 bags less than half with 2 & 3 spade shovels of 3/4 gravel (sharp edges) to use as ballast for faux potted plants at end of driveway. They feel like they could definitely handle more. They will be exposed to the elements for some time so I’ll see how they hold up. Bags size was good, diameter was a bit smaller then I imagined but it worked perfectly for my needs all the same. Ties were also basic, would be nice to have a “quick clip” of sorts but then maybe I’m just over thinking it.

Sturdy and easy to fill.

Seem to be well made. As this is my 1st experience with DURASACK, I can't vouch for their durability. A couple of the Tie Strings have frayed when tying but, not to the point they were unusable. I would consider and probably will purchase them again if needed.

Bought these to temporarily store excess soil, sand and crushed granite for my ongoing landscaping. Hold the right amount to handle/move around and the included ties are a bonus.

These are amazing I live in a high wind area and these work well

Excellent

Happy with the product

My husband filled these with sand and leaves them in the back of his pick up to add more weight in the winter. They do the trick, no issues.
