IRWIN 1774108 Linoleum Knife

I moved my old "Linoleum Knife" to the garden, after finding out how great it works as a mini scythe when cutting weeds and things, and wanted a new one to keep in the garage. I'm a fan of Irwin tools so was happy to find this at the same price as most no-name models. I don't cut flooring usually but it comes in handy on lots of various projects. Well built, sharp, and working great.

Reasonably priced & sturdy for household chores & to trim our family gravestone of weeds/overgrowth.

I needed something to prune my overgrown bird of paradise plants - works very nicely! The wood handle is comfortable in my small hands, and the blade is sharp. I imagine it would work for harvesting as well. For the price, it's a great buy.

I bought this for a job I don't really know what I need. I'm looking for a easy way to cut insulation. Haven't tried it yet.

This Irwin Linoleum Knife is sharp and sturdy. It has a comfortable handle that allows you to use it for extended periods without fatigue. I have not been using the knife as intended. I have been using it to open "super-sacks"; the curved blade helps perforate the tight weave of the bags and slices through the material easily.

This thing is sharp. I did not use it for its intended use, I use it to dig weeds out of cracks in my sidewalk. It works wonders. Very durable and strong and did I mention sharp. Great value for the money.

Dullest knife I’ve ever bought. 3 stars because it worked for what I needed it for, I needed the point to reach under door jambs to dig out the piece of wood I cut out with an oscillating saw while doing a new floor. The cutting edge is round and I’d hate to have to cut linoleum with this.
