The Norel plastic steam heads and handles are cooler to the touch than metal and wood. Preheat and Steam Settings. Auto Shut-off for Safety. Preheat time approximately 15 minutes and produces steam within 2 minutes once at preheat temperature. Made in USA. Holds 1 gallon of water and will steam continuously for 2 hours. The J-4000 series has a water level gauge that shows the water level.
