Review: Fufu machine for yam, cassava, plantain, cocoyam, etc. - It’s easy to assemble and use. I used it for cassava fufu, plantain fufu and a mixture of cassava and plantain. It worked! Using it for yam fufu and potatoes fufu will be no issue that’s why I tried the cassava and plantain and it worked. You’ll need to cut the cassava, yam, plantain, etc. into smaller pieces to get the best texture and results. I’ll recommend it 100%. The picture is a mixture of plantain and cassava fufu. I’ll try cocoyam and yam next.

There is no one to call and desertcart is not doing a good job with customer service . I ended up junking it cause is not good when it turns on it makes a terrible uncomfortable sound. **Q: can it pound powder yam?**
A: No it doesn’t do a good job

**Q: can i get the uk plug type?**
A: I bought a new the uk plug type that is unused and looking to get the us plug type as i live in the us.

**Q: Can you add sugar or salt or spices or seasoning to the yam or cassava prior to closing the lid? Will it affect the functions?**
A: To get the authentic West African Poundo yam, you generally do not add spices to the yam. Having said that, this brand of yam pounder is not good!! Do not buy it I had to return mine.

It’s easy to assemble and use. I used it for cassava fufu, plantain fufu and a mixture of cassava and plantain. It worked! Using it for yam fufu and potatoes fufu will be no issue that’s why I tried the cassava and plantain and it worked. You’ll need to cut the cassava, yam, plantain, etc. into smaller pieces to get the best texture and results. I’ll recommend it 100%. The picture is a mixture of plantain and cassava fufu.
