That being said, here are some tips for those who don't have experience polishing things that don't oscillate: 1. Make sure your surface is clean of dirt and debris. 2. Do not overload the product with polish. Apply a just a few drops, and work the product gently in to prevent it from being flung once you start your drill. 3. Do NOT go full power with your drill. Barely squeeze the trigger and get it spinning at about 1/2 of max speed. 4. Do NOT push the product against the surface with great force. You are polishing, not drilling a hole. Push lightly and allow the product to "deform" or "change shape" slightly while pressing it against the surface to be polished. 5. Do NOT keep it in one spot for a great period of time. That is to say, keep it moving. Since this is for a drill, it will not oscillate and will act like a rotary. If you hold it in one spot, and are applying too much pressure, and going at a high rate of speed, there is a great change you will not only damage the surface of what you are trying to polish, but could burn through any clear and damage the actual rim/item itself. 6.
