### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best version of this game around

This has always been a fun and challenging game for all ages (my son has played it since he was 6). It helps you think in multiple dimensions and plan steps ahead of your current move. This large version is much nicer to play and the wooden construction is beautiful and should be durable too. Great game!

### ⭐⭐⭐ Some quality issues

It's nice that this set is large and wooden. There are a few quality issues though.One of the wooden dowels detached from it's handle in the first few days and we had to glue it back.The supporting legs fit very loosely.The color of the dark checkers is very close to the color of the grid and often there is not enough contrast to tell them apart so play can be confusing.Some of the the light checkers are a bit dark on one side and some of the dark checkers are a little bit light on one side so this can also confuse play.

My dad and I spent hours playing Connect 4 when I was young and he still loves to play. This was a great way to say thank you to him for being a great dad and it can be left out in the living room and not look tacky. He loves it.
