Brod & Taylor Dough Whisk - Heavy Duty Dishwasher-Safe Mixing Tool

I rate kitchen items using this question: Would I replace this immediately if it broke today? This makes the short list of things I wouldn't hesitate to order in the event they broke. However, I doubt this dough whisk would break. It is a workhorse. It makes quick work of batters and mixes even thick batters with ease. It scrapes the whole bowl, so no finding pockets of flour at the bottom. It works great for sourdough, fresh milled flour, and anything else I have tried. What sets it apart from other dough whisks is that it is not wood. I love solid wood cooking utensils, but i don't like when wooden handles are used with metal, because where they meet is very difficult to clean. This one is super easy to clean in the dishwasher. Big fan. I have given it as a gift.

Works and cleans up better that expected. I've only hand washed so can't attest to dishwasher safe. Would buy again and should've bought sooner. Larger than expected but ideal in size when used. Very sturdy. Perfect gift for someone who bakes.

This very well built, heavy duty dough mixer is up to the task of mixing light wet batters or dense, heavy bread dough. It makes quick work of mixing together wet and dry ingredients without making a mess. It's easy to clean and it's sealed where the metal hook meets the handle so junk doesn't get stuck in the crevices. Like a quality knife, the metal dough hook goes all the way through the handle. The handle is covered with a nice grippy silicon material. There are cheaper hand dough mixers available for half the price, but this one is built to last a lifetime and is a joy to hold in your hands, and a joy to use.

Overall, I’m quite pleased with it. The design is simple yet elegant, with a nice, sturdy construction that feels reliable in my hands. It’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing—a great addition to my kitchen tools. However, I did notice a small flaw: there’s a bit of visible glue near the top of the handle. It doesn’t affect the performance, but it slightly detracts from the otherwise clean and polished appearance. That said, the whisk works beautifully for blending doughs and batters without over-mixing, and the ergonomic feel makes it easy to use for extended periods. For its solid performance and attractive design, I’d recommend it.

Very solid piece. The best feature is that the coils are not so tight that dough gets wedged in between them (like a cheaper model I started with). Also, it is one piece (also, unlike a cheaper model I started with that came apart). I figured it was time to upgrade my tools, and I am glad I did. I like that itis dishwasher safe and has a silicone handle. Feels great in my hands.

This dough whisk is expensive compared to others but it is worth the extra money because it is sturdy, and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. It is made of stainless steel with a silicon handle. We made our first loaf of homemade bread this week and I was surprised at how easily it worked through the dough.

Absolutely love this dough whisk! It is great for mixing any kind of dough especially really thick bread dough and cookie doughs. It is very well built and is a very sturdy tool!

Dough wisk is perfect for my usage of making Sourdough. Wish is made very well and comfortable to hold. Would recommend this item as it mixes your items very well and quickly.

Ich schreibe selten eine Bewertung. Aber der Teigrührer ist einfach nur Klasse. Das ist echt ein Teil für die Ewigkeit. Die meisten Teigrührer haben stark verzweigte Drähte, die man sehr schlecht reinigen kann. Das ist bei diesem anders. Alles so super leicht zum saubermachen. Auch keine Holräume wo sich das Wasser stauen kann, wie in manch anderen Teigrührer.Liegt sehr gut in der Hand und man kann super Teige anrühren. Lieber etwas mehr Geld ausgeben, aber dafür ein tolles Arbeitsgerät. Kann ich weiter empfehlen.

if you are thinking that this is just like any other Dough Whish… you’re completely wrong. I bake sourdough almost every week and one of the jobs i would hate was to clean up my cheap dough whisk that i had… that was until i purchased this Brod & Taylor dough whisk! Long gone are the days of trying to clean the metal wire and all its joints and no matter how long i spent cleaning, it always looked like there was still some residue left. The Brod & Taylor dough whisk feels so premium and very ergonomic to handle, the silicone handle provides a great grip, control, better hygiene than the traditional wooden models and it means it’s also dishwasher safe. It has an extra thick stainless steel wire that goes around the all handle to provide strength and durability, in fact i’m sure i will be able to pass it on to my daughter in future as i’m sure it will last a lifetime. Tried my hardest to find any negative point about this whisk but couldn’t find any after using it weekly over the last 8 months even when using it to mix/incorporate 6kg+ sourdough batch or thick cookie dough, but this Whisk just thicker all the boxes and performed brilliantly at every task it set out to. If you are looking for a Great quality Whisk that will last you a lifetime and feels great while using, then look no further, best investment you’ll make on your baking journey.

Dieser Teigrührer ist wirklich robust und solide gebaut. Wie sich der Silikongriff in der Spülmaschine verhält wird die Zeit zeigen. Ansonsten ein Werkzeug für‘s Leben - klare Kaufempfehlung!

Rock solid. Good size. Can be put through the dishwasher and is completely sealed so no water-ingress into the handle-void as with seemingly every other Danish whisk. Will be good value for money if it lasts as long as I suspect it will.
