Some of the mold kits where already compromised upon arrival. This would not have been an issue if they where not so expensive. Edit: The company who sold them where very helpful in getting me a new batch! Thanks for the quick response to my query!

Worked great but I lost the sheet that explains the results (womp womp). But I can probably go to their website and look at the different type of mold pictures online. The instructions were very easy to follow and you see the results in a few days. You don’t have to spend any extra money for a lab analysis. Keep the sheet with the mould type pics and order more Petrie test / analysis dishes online to save a bit of money.

This test is easy to use and works effectively. It is a great way to test for yourself before you invest in a professional. With this test you know if you have a problem.

Very simple to use. Read the instructions other than that it's very easy and although in my jurisdiction they're not allowed as official proof, it was enough to force my landlord to get a company perform a test which showed the same thing and then force the landloyto do something about it

I was tested for allergies and mold came up strong so we decided to test our residence. Setting up the dishes was fairly easy. Found mold spores in one area of our home so now we are getting air filters that are supposed to eliminate the spores. It was an interesting experiment to set up a dish for each room of our home and watch for the spores. They actually took a fair amount of time to develop, 4 days. Downloading the publication that has illustrations for identifying what kinds of mold you might have is necessary. I would recommend following the instructions that came with the kits. I'll be evaluating our air filters to see if they take care of the problem enough so I can breathe better and eliminate my constant nasal congestion.
