It Has two part of chambers with good filtration bio sponge with power of 1200 liter per hour as stated in the cover. After reading reviews from different buyers, in lower chamber I put Seachem Purigen 100 ml(below) and Seachem Matrix 125 ml (upper part of the lower chamber) separate with an bio sponge (i cut it in small part for this activity which supplied with filter box) and in top chamber I put rest of Seachem Matrix 125 ml with Bio sponge and this gives pure crystal clear water and my fishes (Gold fish, Zebra fish and Angels) are happy but I am changing water minimum 15-20 % of my 100 ltr aquarium on weekly basis and rest of bio sponge can be kept as spare. Clean the filter on weekly basis.
