I bought a tall sheep herders walking stick while in Ireland. Used it very day and amassed over 60 walking miles with it in 2 weeks. Coming back I could not stow the stick as a carry on on the plane, So I cut it in two. The Rockler hardware allowed me to easily join the two pieces. Today the walking stick is very bit a dependable as when it was one piece!

I found this item to be poor quality , and of no use

I used them for a breakdown cane. They were easy to install, I used 2part epoxy to told attach them to their parts of the cane. They thread together tight and I do not feel any wobble at the joint. I would recommend.

Didn’t know how to build a cane, so I ordered all the parts figured it out. It was pretty easy and I work for Good.

Not very strong. The thread broke in half, when I placed some pressure on the stick. I than bought a 3/4 inch wood threading tool, threaded a 3/4 inch piece of Oak dowel 5 inches long and replaced the Brass Cane join with it. I now have a very strong Oak staff, which I can brake in half whenever I want, so it fits fine inside my car trunk.

Very nice machining. Set should include a tap for easy install or could be added at extra cost. Love your company!
