Maybe more smooth than Keith Stone.
So a few notes, I did end up getting mine ahead of release, I so far have tried the regular will probably try the vanilla later today, and possibly edit review based on how it is. I should probably add pictures as well. So first make sure this is chilled, and watch when you open. It does seem like a tiny bit of the soda does want to come out when you open the can. I can only assume this might have more gas in it compared to carbonated water, but it isn't like a crazy amount is trying to push its way out. I did not attempt to shake it with one of these cans being about $2 for 13.65oz; I don't want to waste it if it does blow under pressure. So I can say the visual of the product when poured as directed seems pretty accurate. The foam is fine, not the biggest fan but I can see it being a fun concept. When it comes to the taste, I am directly speaking about the regular on this part of the review as I have not tested the Vanilla yet, with this being a draft and partially due to them using nitrogen instead of carbon dioxide, this drink is smooth. You aren't hit with a large dose of bubbles like you are with the regular version, you might even sort of think it is flat, and with the foam you should be getting when you pour the product it certainly not flat. I think the concept of this product is geared more towards flavor than bubbles. I do believe this might the perfect drink for those who like a good cola, but don't always enjoy the bubbly sort of burning sensation you get drink a regular cola. Overall it is good. [Edit] I tasted the vanilla version, and can say it wasn't bad. I don't believe the vanilla takes away from the experience or really add to it in my opinion. I know the Vanilla flavor may not be as popular than the regular, can call it a gut feeling. But in my opinion it is worth trying as it is part of the experience.

Very enjoyable. Not for everyone apparently.
I love this stuff. I'm not even a Pepsi fan. It absolutely is not "repackaged flat Pepsi sold as new". It's very different from normal soda. Yes, it has a kind of flat taste/feel to it. But that's because the bubbles are very small and not as noticeable. Personally, I very much enjoy both flavors. Although, I can completely understand why others don't like it. It's one of those things you just have to try for yourself to find out how you feel about it. As others have stated, if you don't like the more "harsh" bubbles in normal soda definitely give this a try. Oh, and for the record, I DO NOT enjoy flat soda. So it's not like I enjoy this just because I like flat soda.

A cool treat. Is as smooth as advertised. Just be careful to avoid a mess!
This was definitely a curiosity-motivated purchase. I'd heard about nitrogen-infused beverages for years but never actually encountered any in a store as far as I know. Possibly because I'm not a beer drinker. When this popped up on my recommendations, I decided it was worth trying. In the goal of making a novel product that's smoother and less bitter than a normal Pepsi, it definitely succeeded. You wouldn't think the size of gas bubbles would really make that much of a difference in "texture" but it does. And, not being a fan of carbonated/seltzer/tonic water, I did like how much richer both the Pepsi and Vanilla drinks were without that carbonated bitterness. But, as to how many times did I pour things correctly to experience it at its best? That I can't tell you. What I can tell you is that I wasn't a natural and I wound up with 4 messes to clean up. Including one on the edge of a very nice keyboard that happened despite a plate being held beneath the can before opening it. I know the packaging said not to shake ... but I think their definition of "shake" would be my version of "bump" or "sway" because I certainly didn't shake any of the cans ... but it did more better the more time I allowed to pass between the time I retrieved a can from the fridge and set it down on the table .... and I then tried to open it to pour it. There is a technique to it and would not be surprised at all if there's a Pepsi tutorial video dedicated just to that. But, mess aside, it was good. I started off drinking one of each ... but wound up finishing off the Pepsi first and then the Vanilla. Probably would have drank the Vanilla first if it was a straight Creme Soda instead of a Vanilla Pepsi. As an individual, I'd see this as a cool treat to enjoy if I find some directly in a B&M store. But, I could see it (and some regular Pepsi) being an interesting party game where people are doing taste tests to compare a regular Pepsi, a Pepsi Nitro, and a cold bottle of spring water flavored with Soda Stream Pepsi syrup (no carbonation or nitrogen bubbles!) to see which one people really do prefer.

Better than the original
It's smoother and creamier as mentioned on the can. I love it!

Great take on Soda
Nitrogen infused drinks had me curious before I tried these, but after having them I gotta say I really like it. If you like soda because of the carbonation then this doesn't have it. Admittedly it does have a bit of a flat soda taste, but Id say its closer to the taste of soda after its been in a ice cream float. The texture is surprisingly smooth, almost creamy. If you dont like your soda highly carbonated you’ll probably really like this.

Why isn’t all soda Nitro?!
This Nitro Pepsi is incredible! I’ve had some nitro dark beers in the past that I also thought were the best way to serve it, but had never heard of anyone doing it with soda, so I had to try it. Wow, the smooth, rich flavor and lack of “harsh” carbonation were fantastic approaches to mundane soda consumption. I rarely drink soda, especially non-diet (zero) versions, but just like treating yourself to an occasional ice cream cone for dessert, this is one more treat to consider! Just like the nitro beers, get it nice and cold and then enjoy the creamy, rich, sweet taste of the regular or vanilla options. I liked them both. Really blow your mind and make an ice cream float with it. Great product. I hope it hangs around for a long time.
