We have a newborn and turning on the main lights made it hard to resettle the little one. These are a must-have. The battery lasts well and you can change the brightness by holding the button down, plus there is a timer function. Great for night feeds and walking around the house when you don’t want to turn the lights on. The quality is good, it doesn’t feel cheap, and the price is decent for what you get. We also take them travelling as a handy night light.

I often watch TV late at night & like to have a Nightlight on. It’s also useful to see when getting up in the night. It’s bright enough to see by but not too bright that it would stop you falling asleep. I got the “wood version” which is quite stylish & sets a nice ambiance. I love the fact that you can set it on a Timer Function & then you’re not wasting any charge if you do fall asleep. (Would be great for use in kids bedrooms & safe as not plugged into the electric whilst in use). I use it every night & it still lasts upto a week before I charge it again, which usually takes less than an hour. NB For those who had charging issues;- I found that it would not charge when using an iPhone USB plug. I tried to use one the first time & it didn’t work. Apple is renowned for making products for short use & for use on certain things so I decided to try a USB plug that I got from Amazon & had no problems;- it worked fine with the supplied charging lead. Therefore I think some of the reviews from people who had issues and, unfortunately, returned it may have not realised this. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely little lamp.

Great item! Simple to use, lasts really long on one charging. The light colour is eye friendly. I use it mostly when feeding my newborn (it is not quite strong enough to use while changing nappies). Great value for money, highly recommend, I am very glad I got this simple, one light colour option rather than multiple colours versions. It just does the job and doesn't distract my newborn.

Smilodon Timer Night Light: Compact and well made. Good battery life between charges. A nice, diffused warm white dimmable light with memory. A useful timer to turn off the light. Ideal at the bedside when going to sleep where a bright, harsh light is unwelcome. Turn on the warm light with a tap and twist to set the timer and fall asleep with a dim light that switches itself off after the set time. Brilliant for those nocturnal visits to the bathroom or upon waking early in the morning when it’s still dark as the dim light doesn’t dazzle you. The lowest brightness is just right to fall to sleep giving the room a very soft glow and on full brightness it is sufficient to find objects but I would not personally find it bright enough to read by. I have purchased a couple more as gifts and both recipients are loving their new lights.

I've bought a few similar lamps over recent years, some have radios or Bluetooth or colour changing. This is a little lamp with a nice warm glow. It is actually nice to not have colour changing options, which is just a gimmick really. The lamp is very small, but in a cute kind of way. It will not light a whole room, but it is perfect for young children or in a baby room, or just for some ambient light. The battery life is immense. I've not had to recharge it done getting it about 3 months ago. The timer facility probably helps this as it is really easy to use. You turn the lamp itself and a little digital timer goes up and down with soft reassuring clicks per minute required. I usually give a twist for 15 minutes as I leave the children and it turns off automatically. You can also adjust the brightness by pushing down. Again super easy. A great little lamp. Good as a (slightly brighter version) of a candle for the table or outside in the summer evenings. Lost one star as could be a tad cheaper.

Bought this week, loving it. I always read in bed (nothing exciting) and generally fall asleep with the light on, and then wake up later to turn the light off. No more. This works exactly as I'd hoped. Bright enough to easily read by, set it for 20 minutes - usually long enough - then I'm asleep, light turns off, and no being woken up with a light in my eyes, it's great. Wish I'd found it years ago. If I'm still awake after 20 minutes is easy enough to press the top and simply turn the light for another 10 or so minutes. Great product they have thought of everything, timer, dimmer, and even a remote, a warm light setting and a bright light setting

Was nice when first purchased as the brightness could be adjusted, but after a while, it was not being charged & no way to turn it back in

Bought one of these to try out and found it so good that I bought 3 more, charges very quickly via USB and lasts a few nights if left on all night. The size was exactly what was needed and quite pleasing to look at. All in all delighted with this product.

This light is perfect for use on our bedside. Dim light that doesn't wake my light-sleeping wife. Timer for when you want to read a bit but tend to fall asleep. Push down to dim. Quality is decent as a toddler and a baby have not managed to break it yet.

My 8yo can't sleep without a night light. Lately he's been turning on his lamp and leaving it on all night (if only he paid the electricity bill). This light is amazing. If he wakes up in the middle of the night and it timed out, he will turn it on again with the remote and go back to sleep. My wife is pretty sensitive to light while trying to sleep, so having it turn off after a while helps her get rest as well (His room is across from ours). I wish I bought this years ago for my 10yo.

Semplicemente una piccola lampada ma con una bella funzione..il timer di spegnimento! Non immaginate di poterci leggere un libro ..ma sicuramente è utile per vedere nella stanza. Per addormentarsi non disturba se rimane accesa perché puoi scegliere l' intensità della luce ..e l'effetto "respiro".. Tu ti addormenti e la lampada si spegnerà in base all'impostazione del timer.
