If large Data storage is what you need, you cannot get better than this as of now. 20TB of data all in one place, it saves you the space of keeping multiple 4-8tb HDDs, while costing less per TB than individual HDDs. But one thing to keep in mind is that if the drive fails then all the drives are also lost at once. The best way to stay safe is having your second backup on a large capacity drive like this. That would be the best of both worlds in my opinion. Best of luck with your decisions.

I recently purchased the Seagate One Touch Hub 6TB, and my experience has been very disappointing.Issues faced:1. Unusual Sound & Vibrations: The hard disk constantly emits audible sounds and vibrations, which is not expected from a premium storage device. It feels unstable and makes me question its durability.2. Extremely Slow Transfer Speeds: Initially, I get decent speeds (70–90 MB/s) for a few seconds, but it quickly drops to 300 KB/s – 1.5 MB/s, and stays there. It’s frustratingly slow and not at all suitable for transferring large files. I’ve tried multiple USB ports and cables — the issue persists.3. Unreliable Performance: For a product marketed for high-capacity and professional use, this is far from acceptable. It has caused delays in my workflow and I’m now concerned about data safety.This is the worst experience I’ve had with an external hard drive. I expected better from Seagate. I would not recommend this model unless these issues are addressed or resolved.Please return.

Outstanding product, so far uploaded more than 2TB, as compared to 1TB micro sd which crashes once you load more than 70%, this one is highly stable, smooth at performance and doing great

Este disco duro externo es perfecto para mis necesidades de almacenamiento, especialmente para mi trabajo con videos en 4K.Con 8 TB de espacio, puedo guardar todos mis videos, fotos y documentos sin preocuparme por el espacio. Es ideal para manejar grandes cantidades de datos.Velocidad RápidaGracias a su conexión USB-C y USB 3.0, las transferencias de archivos son rápidas. Mover archivos grandes, como videos en 4K, es mucho más rápido y sencillo.Funcionalidad de HUBLo mejor de este modelo es que puedo conectar mi móvil o portátil directamente al disco duro. Esto facilita cargar dispositivos y transferir archivos sin complicaciones, porque para los videos de YouTube grabo muchos recursos con el IPhone y Time-lapses con otro smartphone, y pasar todos los archivos por telegram era muchísimo tiempo.El diseño es elegante y funciona bien con ordenadores de sobremesa, portátiles y Mac. Es compacto y no ocupa mucho espacio.Refrigeración y RuidoEl disco duro prácticamente ni se escucha, y demás refrigera bastante bien, analizándolo con CrystalDisk mientras paso 300GB de video no pasa de 42ºC y estamos en Mayo, con unos 22ºC en mi estudio.ConclusiónEl Seagate One Touch Hub de 8 TB es una excelente inversión. Su gran capacidad, rapidez y funcionalidad adicional lo hacen destacar. ¡Muy recomendado!Voy a incluir algunas imágenes del producto y de las pruebas de velocidad para que puedan ver lo bien que funciona.

Auf beiden Seiten ist eine Belüftung waagerechten Betrieb. Nicht wie im Bilde auf der Seite stehend, und dann ohne Wärmestau, wie die Expansionplatte, die senkrecht mit den Lüftungsschlitzen nach oben zu betreiben ist!! Sie ist auch schnell im Datenübertrag am USB 3.1 Anschluss meines HP-Z6G4 Rechners. Amazon sollte darauf hinweisen, um schlechte Bewertungen zu Vermeiden.
