It’s great for kids who are curious about our world and it can double up a night light to have beside the bed, which my daughter is really excited about - we had to shut the curtains and turn off the lights to try it out the moment it arrived. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Posted in thin bag from UK to Greece and light didn’t work when arrived *by A***. on 18 March 2024* This is a very nice little globe, but unfortunately it was posted in only a thin, completely unpadded envelope from the UK to Greece. I ordered as a birthday present, and the box was totally bashed in on all sides when the item arrived (impossible not to have happened, as it wasn’t double boxed and the original packaging is not that sturdy). When we put in a set of four same brand new batteries, the light up function didn’t work. The reason we aren’t returning the item is because of the distance and time required to return it. My husband unscrewed the base cover and a wire is loose going to the switch, we are going to take it to get it soldered and hope it will work.
