Telestrations has quickly become one of our favorite games for gatherings, family nights, and parties. It’s a creative twist on the classic “telephone” game. Each player alternates between drawing a word and guessing what others have drawn, leading to wildly funny results. The game is super easy to learn, making it great for ages teens through adults. Setup is simple, and rounds move at a good pace, so no one gets bored. Even if you’re not an artist, the imperfect drawings are part of the fun. What we love most is how unexpectedly hilarious the outcomes become. What starts as a simple word often ends up completely unrecognizable after passing through several players’ interpretations. Whether you’re playing with family or friends, Telestrations delivers laughs and memorable moments every time. It’s one of the best party games we’ve added to our collection.

This game is so much fun! Prepare for belly-aching laughter for all ages. It’s super easy to set up, and because there’s no board, you don’t even need a table to play. The worse you are at drawing, the better the game is—so no pressure to be an artist. It’s definitely more fun with larger groups, but still works with a smaller number of players. Highly recommend for family or friend game nights!

I host game nights a lot, and this game is always a hit! As our game night group got bigger, I had to upgrade to this 12 player version, and having more people makes the game more fun! We don’t use the cards. For the secret word, we each write a wacky phrase— anything our hearts desire that we want people to draw: a giraffe on a skateboard, Santa Claus sunbathing, a clown escaping the circus. The drawings almost always never end up how they started, and there’s always lots of laughter all around and at least one horribly drawn master piece that everyone needs to snap a picture of before. Gets erased. So fun! Easy to play! Make sure your players wipe down the dry erase boards before you put them back in the box, or they are nearly impossible clean later even with dry erase spray.

Played over the holidays with family and laughed a lot. Better with large groups though.

Huge hit at parties. At least 5 of my friends have ordered it since we introduced it. Lots of fun.

Super fun game for family gatherings! My 3 complaints are that 1. The 6 person version is $20, 8person $25, so spending $20 more just to get the boards extended by 4 more and add a few markers is steep. Complaint #2 is that the boards erase very streaky. Unsure if this is more the board or their marker erasers, but it seems to be a cheaper element. #3 the boards are not as water-resistant as you would imagine. The corner of one touched a *drop of water on the table and absorbed it and now the corner is separating. Definitely a cheaper/fragile design for its cost. But the game is super fun and allows for 12 players so I only took away 1 star

Llevo mucho tiempo buescando este juego ya que lo había jugado una vez y no pudimos parar de reir. En español lo edita Goliath pero está descatalogado desde hace varios años. Hablé con ellos y no hay intención de editarlo de nuevo así que me lancé a la compra de la versión de 12 jugadores (más risas todavía) en inglés. Lo único que influye el iduima (que no es poco) es para el tema de las tarjetas que aunque sepas inglés, muchas están orientadas a personajes y expresiones muy particulares de la cultura anglosajona. no obstante, fotocopiando las tarjetas del español o sacándolas de otros juegos como el Tabú, Time's Up! o el Party se puede jugar perfectamente. En mi grupo de juegos jugamos sin tarjetas, es decir, discurriendo cada uno la palabra o expresión que quiere dibujar en cada partida. Muy recomendable para grupos de 8-12 personas, a 6 funciona bien pero desciende el nievel de risas. A 8-10 jugadores creo que es su mejor número.

For a guy who can't draw a round circle I would have never thought this game could be so much fun! Great for lots of laughs, and there is no learning curve so you can pull it out at any time.
