This little thing allows me to see my eyes(for makeup application) and my brows (for tweezing) very clearly without the need for my glasses. Although I will admit it is very small. There are two lines of LED lights, one on each side of the middle mirror, that both light up, with the touch of a button and enable me to see very well to put my makeup on even in a bathroom that has no windows. It takes 4 AA batteries (not included) or you can use the provided USB. If you walk away and forget to turn it off, it has a special feature that automatically turns the light off, after 15 minutes. I do this ALL the time! Lol It’s a great design, and is compact enough to throw into my suitcase for travel. It truly made a difference when applying makeup. The lighting was natural and could be adjusted based on lighting preference. However, although I loved this product, the product quickly became unusable. First, with the back of the mirror, or spine, of the mirror lost its strength so the mirror immediately went from pointing directly at my face, to my chin/chest area. Second, the mirror's light would shut off and would only turn on when it was point a certain way - I had to move the whole stand 90 degrees to the left to make sure the connecting cord would properly connect to the mirror making the mirror light up.Some might think that I was mistreating the item or putting it under a lot of strain - constant traveling, moving, adjusting, etc. but that fact remains that I would use the light once a day and never left the makeup area that I originally set it in.
