They are clearly very high quality straps with well made and sturdy buckles. That's why I gave them 5 stars. I have tried other brands and the buckles were very light weight. These buckles are sturdy and well made. One caution - two of my four straps were not well terminated and when I tried to thread one of the straps, it quickly became unravelled (see photo). This was a very easy fix - just trim the strap and re-burn the edge to seal it. I guess the edge burner had the day off when two of my straps were made. Since I was planning on cutting the strap to shorten it didn't matter to me, and the fix was very easy. I still give five stars because these are clearly quality straps, I would just caution you to inspect the loose ends of the straps before you use them to make sure they are well sealed and will not unravel like mine did. I didn't comment on durability since I only just received them, but will update this review after a few serious uses to comment on their durability.
