What more can you ask of a auto siphon. Works if your an elderly person or weak to carry a water jug over a recpetical too refill it. Works for racking your alchol into a different bottle. Highly reccomend it for any transfer of liquids need. As for its durability for what liquid your using it for? I dont actually know.

Works when others don't!

The siphon works well but won’t fit in my gallon jugs for moving mead. Works fine with 5 gallon bucket for my beer. Only negative is the hisses were crimped from packaging. It may come out over time or it I heat it in hot water.

This siphon makes it very easy to rack my mead. I definitely recommend it.

If you're debating pricing between a regular auto siphon and a large one, go for this large one. Racking time is significantly faster. Materials are also quality, easy to clean.

It works as advertised, but everything that I've read recommends that you store these with the inner sleeve separate from the outer one to prevent the rubber seal from being permanently smashed. This must be glued b/c no amount of reasonable force can twist the end caps off...We'll see how long it lasts, I may have to revise my rating down.

Poor quality. The siphon wont stop bubbling when transferring liquid to another carboy.

Bought to replace my smaller auto siphon that broke while pullung off the hose, but it was well worth the mistake! The large siphon makes a huge didference in the time it takes to transfer 5 gal of beer, i wish i broke my old one sooner! Has fewer parts to assemble for use, which was a pain with the old one remembering just how it went together. Less to sanitize, fewer pieces to lose, and transfers speedy quick. Worth it! The clip could be stronger, and takes some adjusting to keep the autosiphon upright, but I'd still say it's worth it.
