Concrete Acid Stain in Black is a professional-grade, acid-based stain that chemically reacts with concrete to create a permanent, natural marbling effect. UV stable for both interior and exterior use, it covers up to 200 square feet per gallon and requires no neutralization or intense scrubbing. ## Description

How To Use: Floor PrepThis is the most important part to any concrete floor. We highly recommended renting a swing machine and placing a 16 Inch 30 grit Concrete DNA Satellite Pad (ASIN: B06XXC1VVV ) in combination with our Super Blue (ASIN: B01H7KGEUA ) diluted at a ratio of 1:9 1 gallon of Super Blue to 9 Gallons of Water. This will open your concrete so the stain will be able to penetrate the surface. We also highly recommended at this point to use our Citra Peel (ASIN: B01H7VFO1O ) and a Black Pad to remove any sealer that is on your concrete floor. All sealer must be removed or the stain will not be able to penetrate the concrete. Applying The Acid Stain:Apply the stain with a pump sprayer. You should cover your floor until there is 100% coverage to the entire area. DO NOT change up how you apply your acid stain during the project, it will cause a different look when you change applications methods mid-stream. Allow to dry thoroughly. Reaction/Drying time will vary according to surface conditions and humidity. Once the stain is done reacting typically between 2 to 8 hours the floor should be rinsed with water or a wet mop to get any residue left behind by the acid stain.Allow the concrete to dry completely, typically 24 hours Run your finger across the floor to make sure you got all the acid stain residue off the floor. Now it is time to apply your sealer. We recommend Ez Seal which will “pop” your color (ASIN: B01H7L8G3M). Finally we strongly recommend on interior application to protect and keep your floor looking new our Ez-Glo Floor Polish (ASIN: B01H7MJ8JM) or Ez-Glo Floor Polish in Matte Finish (ASIN: B06XWYBBXQ).

I don't know if I got a faulty or mislabeled jug, but what i got was not black, wet, dry, or in the dark.. not black. It was a rusty copper color. After accusing me of doing it wrong for a day or two through messages I got them to send a black water based stain sample, which was barely enough to test a tiny little area, it was like a 4 oz little bottle. The water based stain was atleast black though..

Meticulously prepared the concrete floor before applying the stain. The result was not black, it did leave a cool pattern from the reaction with the concrete but it is not black or even a close to black color. I don't know if I got a faulty or mislabeled jug, but what i got was not black, wet, dry, or in the dark.. not black. It was a rusty copper color. After accusing me of doing it wrong for a day or two through messages I got them to send a black water based stain sample, which was barely enough to test a tiny little area, it was like a 4 oz little bottle. The water based stain was atleast black though..

First problem was I ordered black stain. The container said it was black. The stain was a dark mustard color. The stain only worked on some of the concrete. It made the the retaining wall look a dingy dark yellow. I would not recommend this product.
