I went to a training at our district and they were using it and recommended it. I ordered it from desertcart during the PD because I liked it so much. My biggest take away is that I don't allow my students spend enough time planning and thinking about concepts. This is a great book for new teachers, as well as seasoned teachers like me, because it reminds them of what needs to be done in order for their students to learn. It reminds them to take their time and where they need to focus. Great book; great ideas. Review: A must for teachers and literacy coaches - I cannot recommend this book enough.
