Great electronic drums for the money!
This is a great drum set, especially for the money. I was surprised how loud the built in speakers are. You really don't need an amp unless you're performing to a crowd. I really enjoy switching to percussion mode and having multiple sets of bongo drums that I can use with my hands and fingers with better pad sensitivity. AC power is fine, but I found myself practicing anywhere since it has charging capabilities. The sound is great and well worth the money! Fun and easy to use!

Awesome product that was bought as a gift for autistic step son.

Very portable
Got this drum pad and two others for my son to try and this was his pick for the winner. It wasn’t the best quality, but it was the most compact and complete unit we tried. He plays it for hours every day. 15 different settings for sounds, volume control, it’s a great unit for practice but you’re not going to be impressing anyone with its sound quality. It works just fine tho.

Impressed!
There are multiple preset kits for various styles, and none of them sound bad. This is a quality product for both the beginner and the pro. Good feel for a practice pad, but also for live performance and recording. I am very impressed.

My grandson loves this digital drum pad! His parents love that it has an output for ear buds!

I haven't played in a LONG time and this might get me back into it!
I never really "played" drums. I had a drum set while I was in middle school but I honestly haven't picked up drumsticks since. This little kit is great if you just want something to mess around on and practice. (I know I need the practice! Haha) I just tried to include a few different sounds in the video I included with this. THE BAD: Here are a couple little issues I've noticed from using this kit. 1) There could be bigger/better rubber grips on the foot pedals. You may be able to see them slide around a little in the video I included with this review. 2) I don't think it has a memory? Whenever I turn it off and then back on again, it starts at the loudest volume and says "BLUETOOTH MODE". Then I have to turn it all the way back down before I start playing. If there's a way to stop it from doing that, it'd be cool if someone could send me a message and let me know how to do it! I didn't see anything in the manual but I might've missed it? 3) You might want to get yourself a pair of drumsticks if you don't have some. I just don't like these very much. I used the ones that come with this kit in the video and I've been using them to test it, but they're really lightweight and soft. (They say they're 5A's... I used to know what all the numbers and letters meant but I've forgotten now it's been so long.) THE rest of the GOOD: Other than those 3 things though, I really love this little kit. The built in battery is decent as well. I've been playing out on my porch while recording the video I included with this review for 30 - 45 minutes and the kit is still powered up. Good volume, lots of different built in sounds. (Not to mention that you could use it as a MIDI kit and use a bunch of software instruments too.) You can plug in headphones to use it! (I think this is probably the best feature if you live in an apt building or with family, etc.) It's decently responsive to stick hits too, though I do notice a little lagging with the hi-hat foot pedal occasionally. It definitely could just be that my timing is off too so I won't really hold this against the kit until I know for sure that it's the kit lagging. Which is why I still rated this product 5 stars. SUMMARY: If you're a beginner and you're just looking for a kit to mess around on, or if you used to play and are just getting back into it like me, this is a great little kit to start with! All the features and options it has are sweet and it also seems like it gives you a little room to grow too. (with the midi controller portion, I mean.) The only person I wouldn't recommend this for is for pro's that are looking to specifically use this as a midi controller or something. It seems accurate, but it might not be accurate enough that a pro would be satisfied with it. I'm not a pro though obviously, so I really can't say for sure.

Pads were too small for me.
I'm sure this drum kit is great for some users, but as a beginning drummer it just was not what I was expecting as a learning tool. It sounds OK, but after practicing with a real drum kit I can tell the real thing is a better and more fun way to play drums. I returned it after a few days. I'll eventually get a set of real drums, probably a small kit just to play along with my favorite rock songs.
