II don't see why it wouldn't work for those. It wears on your wheels everytime you use it tho so you could kiss your trear goodbye and it's a slow gradual stop. Plus it puts you in somewhat of a awkward stance so depending on how gnarly of a all terrain hill your on you could have some issues. Another thing to note is it makes noise your on unsmooth ground that sounds like you attached a bell at the end of your board so if your on ruff terrain it's always going to be ringing
