I am a middle aged woman and I suffer from a debilitating disease that causes extreme fatigue. I also suffer from extreme, chronic gastricintestinal reflux disorder. Due to extreme GERD, I had to have a Gastric Bypass. I was hesitant at first to try these given the bypass, but we were getting ready to move to a different city and I couldn’t afford to be sleepy all day. I was afraid I might injure myself by being so fatigued. My son offered me one of his time release caffeine pills. I normally don’t take any caffeine or drink much caffeine because it gives me the jitters, especially now that I’ve had the bypass. That being said, I figured it was no different than just having one cup of coffee or tea, so I would just work my way past the jitters. But I was wrong. It was different. It was WAY BETTER than a cup of coffee. I didn’t experience any of the usual coffee type jitters. I didn’t have reflux issues from it. It lasted a good 5-6 hours and there was no post caffeine crash. There is just the right amount of caffeine for me, not too much or too little. And the time release worked great, even with the gastric bypass.
