True Citrus Lemon Two Pack - Lemon Shaker and Lime Shaker - 10.6 oz

Can’t beat “True Lemon” as a substitute for lemon juice/flavoring. Doesn’t have bitterness of store-bought reconstituted juice. Very easy to use & mixes well into liquids.

I sprinkle this on foods and in drinks. Very convenient and true to taste. Saves time from having to buy the fruits so very useful to have on hand. Pricey though

We love using the True Lemon and True Lime in recipes, marinades and sprinkled on some foods. It's an excellent product. Tastes like lemon or lime without a funky chemical aftertaste. I bought mine last month and paid $32. for the set of 2 10 ounce bottles. When I was writing this review it had group to $43. Let's just say that I'm glad I bought it when I did. I would be hesitant at the current price. Later on I might have to decide to use fresh lemon and lime juice instead. I like that the product itself is excellent. It doesn't spoil. It's obviously concentrated since it's dried. And it's extremely easy to use.

I freakin LOVE this stuff. Can not get enough!!!! My daughter thinks there is something wrong with me. I love lemon on a lot of things, veggies, fish, in my desserts, so I use that one more. But the lime is great for salsa, tacos, margaritas to mix with sugar and rim the glass. The ways of using these is endless possibilities. They taste like the real thing because they are made from the real thing. It's just dehydrated crystals from the juice and zest that you can shake on anything you desire. When I first found them, it was the small packets, then I found the small shakers. But now that I found the big boys, I will never buy lemon and lime juice again! I am always asking for extra lemons at restaurants, not any more. I just take some of the packets with me and I'm good to go.

I bought a few boxes of single-serving packets of these products a few years ago to use as simple, subtle flavor enhancers for water. I got away from that eventually and just started using lemon juice, but when I saw this 2-pack of shakers I figured I'd stock up once again with the benefit of not having the waste associated with single-serving packets. I still shake a little into a glass of water every now and then for a little tartness, but where these products really shine is in cooking. I tried it out, kind of on a whim one day when I was grilling up some chicken. I saw the bottles in the cupboard and said eh, what the hell. Grabbed a small bowl and mixed up some salt, ground black pepper, rosemary, and True Lemon. Sprinkled the mixture all over the chicken, stuck the pieces into a cast iron skillet and threw it on the grill. It was FANTASTIC. Now I'm hooked. Nearly every dish lately has had to incorporate one of these bottles. Small amounts of True Lime sprinkled into a bowl and mixed in with cubed raw tuna, sriracha, gochujang, and soy. Perfect spicy tuna to serve over rice. Chili powder, True Lime, and salt as a rub for chicken. I don't even know what I'm doing most of the time, I just look in the spice cupboard and see if I can make something that doesn't sound gross. These little bottles make me look like qa better cook than I am, and I'm super grateful for that. :)
