I’ve been using the Vanity Cream shampoo and conditioner set for almost a year now, and I absolutely love it. The ingredient lists are very simple and minimal, which I really appreciate, it feels intentional and thoughtful, and the ingredients are gentle and lower-risk compared to many other brands. The shampoo lathers nicely and leaves my hair feeling clean, and the conditioner works really well to keep it soft and manageable. Since switching from more popular brands, my hair has been happy and healthy. Overall, this set is affordable, effective, and thoughtfully formulated!

Vanicream Shampoo and Hair Conditioner has stopped my hair from falling out. This shampoo and conditioner is wonderful. For those people, like myself, who have issues with hair falling out, this product is perfect. But, it doesn't cure the situation overnight. After using for a month I could clearly see new hair growth and my hair quit falling out rapidly. Vanicream Shampoo and Condition are free of formaldehyde and other chemicals that so many of us cannot tolerate.

about me: I have chronic migraine. Fragrances are a real problem for that. I also have eczema, and sensitive skin. I have a drier scalp/dandruff, but also oily. With a patch on the back of my head that is oiler than the rest. I have fine, straight hair. My hair is not dyed, bleached, lightened or otherwise chemically altered. I wash my hair every other day. I use no hair products aside from shampoo and conditioner. I let my hair air dry. I do not heat style. The product I had been using for years was discontinued so I needed to find a new fragrance free option. My experience with Free & Clear Shampoo and Conditioner. -It has no added fragrances, including no added masking agents. So there is a bit of a product smell. Not good, not bad, not strong. Doesn't cling to hair after a shower. Doesn't upset my migraines. -Thus far I have no irritation/rashes. It does not trigger or irritate eczema on my hands or scalp. -The first two weeks of use my scalp had more build up which lead to a bit more itching. But my scalp adjusted. -I have to use more product than what I used with my old shampoo to clean my scalp. I have always had to wash my scalp twice in the shower, or the oily patch on the back of my head remains oily after showering. -The shampoo is a bit drying, but not terribly so. But, again I don't chemically process my hair or heat style it. If I did, I'm not sure this shampoo would be for me. I don't love it. I don't hate it. But it's okay. But it is far far far better than using some fragrant shampoo that'll give me a headache, so it's a win for me.

Wonderful wonder how this shampoo/conditioner set could make my itchy head feel immediate relief. This product is magic. I highly recommend you try it plus very reasonable price. Made my hair very nice and soft.

I have extremely sensitive skin that reacts to nearly everything and sometimes to even nothing. I also have eczema, psoriasis, allergies and asthma. This makes anything with a scent very difficult to use. Per my dermatologist I have switched to everything unscented Vanicream. At first I only switched to their body washes, lotions/creams, facial cleanser, facial moisturizer, and sunscreen. The only product I still used with any scent was my shampoo and conditioner. The dermatologist told me I needed to switch to Vanicream unscented shampoo and conditioner as even the very light fragrances of my old hair products was aggravating my asthma. I'm so glad I made the switch. I naturally have dry skin and hair. This shampoo gets my hair very clean and the conditioner doesn't weigh heavy on my thin and fine hair. Sometimes when I'm in a hurry I will use shampoo and skip the conditioner which I know we aren't supposed to do anyway. I will say one day I skipped the conditioner after shampooing and my hair did feel a little extra dry. The next day I used the conditioner after shampooing and my hair felt less dry, manageable, and back to the level of dryness that it always is no matter what I use. I highly recommend this Vanicream shampoo and conditioner. It gets my hair very clean and the conditioner works well. I definitely can't skip the conditioner though. I will add that my cousin has very oily hair and she refuses to use conditioner. Her hair usually looks greasy by the end of the day at the roots and about three inches down after shampooing in the morning. She tried this in my shower and did not use the conditioner. Her hair looked perfectly clean and not greasy at all. She was able to skip two full days of washing her hair before she needed to wash it again so she was very pleased and got her own Vanicream shampoo which she is now using.

No scent, no skin irritants. Happy with the shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately, can’t use anything else due to allergies. But Vanicream helps control the irritation.

I recieved 2 condtioners instead of 1 each. Very ichy scalp and losing hair during using it, still sitting in the draw ,wasting money

So far I am loving these. I needed something gentle for my hair as I ended up with a case of postpartum seborrheic dermatitis. I am using these in conjunction with a medicated shampoo that treats the yeast component of the issue and both are helping my skin barrier restore itself so I can put this episode behind me. All in all my hair feels softer and less dry or stripped after I use them. I will continue to use this duo indefinitely as hair feels healthier without all of the harsh chemicals in standard shampoos. Would recommend.

These products were recommended by my specialist dermatologist who is a world renowned hair loss expert. Both the shampoo and the conditioner are without any chemicals, scent or additives. It’s just what I need for saving my hair from further hair loss.

I am in love with product. It suits my oily and dandruff prone skin perfectly. I would recommend to use shampoo with conditioner. conditioner makes hair smooth and easy to comb.

Ich habe das Vanicream Shampoo nun zweimal benutzt und war leider sehr enttäuscht. Für die empfindliche Kopfhaut ist es zwar angenehm und verursacht keine Reizungen, aber für trockenes, lockiges oder geschädigtes Haar ist es überhaupt nicht geeignet. Mein Haar fühlte sich nach der Anwendung extrem trocken, strohig und sogar „verbrannt“ an. Der passende Conditioner ist zudem viel zu leicht und spendet kaum Feuchtigkeit. Vielleicht passt das Shampoo für normales oder fettiges Haar, aber für trockenes, strapaziertes oder lockiges Haar würde ich es definitiv nicht empfehlen.
