L-Shaped Computer Desk-Buy it

I was unsure when the box arrived but the instructions were easy to read and the way the parts of the desk were labeled allowed for easy assembly. My daughter and I put the desk together in about an hour. Nice and sturdy.

I purchased this desk to start a new adventure-returning to school in my late 30's. I was dismayed to see the estimated delivery date was weeks away, but I ordered it anyway. To my delight, it arrived about two weeks ahead of schedule. The box itself was large, and quite heavy. I was able to drag it into the garage on my own, but it did require the help of my husband to lift it and carry it into the house. The desk was packaged with great care and came in pristine condition. The task of assembling it seemed daunting-there were many boards and a large bag of hardware. However, I was able to assemble it on my own in about two hours. Throughout the assembly process, I was surprised at the sturdiness of the furniture. I usually damage particle board when inserting screws, but that was not the case here. A Philips head screwdriver is the only tool not provided that is needed to complete assembly. The drawers glide smoothly and are great for storing small items. I wouldn't recommend putting any heavy items in the drawers because the bottoms are a bit flimsy. The shelf is easily adjustable to three different heights-my shelf is pictured in the middle setting. The desktop is spacious enough to have ample room to work while sharing the space with a laptop. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this desk.

I love this desk! The style is great. Their customer service was pretty quick to respond as well. I love that the desk can go either direction with simply flipping the drawers and then flipping the desk over, making it more functional for you personal space. I did have one issue. I had put the desk together according to the instructions and had caused some minor damage because of the lack of clarity in the instructions. I have built all of our furniture in our house and had never had this issue before. It didn’t affect the functionality of the desk. It’s mostly just cosmetic, but it could have been avoided if the instructions had been a little more clear. Not angry, just a little annoyed. When I reached out to costumer service they were very responsive and kind and said they’d be happy to send me a new piece in the mail but that they had a huge delay in receiving parts so it would be a few months down the road. Totally understandable. However I lost the email and never got a new part shipped out. It’s now been about a year. The request probably got lost somewhere along the line. So that’s a little upsetting. But I still love this desk and I’m extremely happy with the purchase. It looks great and works wonderfully and is pretty stable!

The desk is beautiful and has so much space for storage, I love it. However, the quality of the pieces are pretty bad, the paint comes off easily and some of the holes aren’t deep enough for the screws. One of the holes on one of the pieces wasn’t deep enough, so when I inserted the little wooden thing (idk the name) it broke through the other side. Thankfully it isn’t in a noticeable spot. The wood also came bent and in the drawer picture, you can notice it being uneven, however the weight of the console + my pc is probably putting it back into place. There’s a lot of leg room and is very comfortable. The height is perfect for me. I recommend but beware you might get some bad parts.

This is a very nice desk for the cost. It allows you to build it for left or right options and the desktop can be secured permanently with screws or you can use an included padded strip to just lay the top onto the shelving section (that is very nice and it stays in place). The unit will take two to three hours to assemble, but it is pretty sturdy. Drawers work well. The desk height is pretty standard (with an adjustable height chair, it definitely works well). It's not a simple build but the items are labeled and it will just take time to assemble it. The product comes in a single box which weighs about 103 pounds...so not too light as a package. Once assembled....you're in business!

I like the shelves, drawers and setup of this desk. The drawers are easy to open and the desk is great for a small space. On the down side, I noticed a small split in the laminate coating between the top piece and the side edge. It is approximately 3 inches long. It isn't very noticeable; I don't see this happening anywhere else on the desk. So far, I think the desk is a reasonable value for the price. In fact, my partner liked mine so much, he bought one for his office.

Sturdy and simple looking. It’s big enough for all my electronics and I like the storage shelves and drawers. Note* The box is VERY heavy when you receive it. You’ll need two people to move it. It was fairly simple to put together if you can follow picture only directions. I say fairly because I did have trouble with the drawer slides and ended up having to trial and error my way through it. It took me about 45 minutes to complete. Once I finished them, the drawers are pretty sturdy and smooth. This is an “IKEA” type desk, pressed wood (I call it glue wood) and metal. Don’t tighten to much or the glue wood will crack.
