The Army Painter Colour Primer combines a miniature spray primer with highly pigmented colour, giving plastic, resin, and metal models a smooth foundation for painting while adding your first base colour at the same time to help you get painting faster. - βš™οΈ Uniform Grey creates a versatile ashen grey base that's ideal for historical uniforms, military vehicles, armour, terrain, and grey-heavy fantasy or sci-fi colour schemes. Its neutral tone also provides a practical starting point when you want a balanced base for adding lighter and darker colours. - πŸ›‘οΈ Made specifically for miniature painting, this acrylic spray primer provides even coverage and a matt surface ready for your next layer of paint. The fine spray is designed to preserve sculpted details while preparing your miniature for Warpaints Fanatic, Speedpaint, and other acrylic paints. - πŸ’¨ For smooth, even coverage, shake the can for at least 1 minute before use and test spray first. Hold 6–8 inches (15–20 cm) from the miniature and apply multiple thin coats in short, controlled bursts, allowing each coat to dry before adding the next. Avoid spraying in extreme heat, cold, or humidity. - πŸ–ŒοΈ Continue painting with Warpaints Fanatic for traditional basecoats, layers and highlights, or add Speedpaint and other acrylic paints to build your colour scheme. Explore other Colour Primer shades to quickly establish the main colour of your miniature before painting. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005C3CXB4 | | Best Sellers Rank | #46,457 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #42 in Primer Paint | | Brand Name | The Army Painter | | Color | Uniform Grey | | Container Type | Can | | Coverage | Full | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (1,565) | | Dry Time In Hours | 12 | | Finish Type | Matte | | Global Trade Identification Number | 08800158140588 | | Item Form | Aerosol | | Item Volume | 400 ml | | Item Weight | 0.38 kg | | Manufacturer | The Army Painter | | Model Number | CP3010 | | Paint Type | Acrylic | | Part Number | CP3010S | | Special Features | Fast-Drying | | Specific Uses For Product | Interior/Exterior | | Surface Recommendation | Metal,Plastic | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** The Army Painter - **Color:** Uniform Grey - **Finish Type:** Matte - **Item Form:** Aerosol - **Item Volume:** 400 ml - **Paint Type:** Acrylic - **Special Feature:** Fast-Drying - **Specific Uses For Product:** Interior/Exterior - **Surface Recommendation:** Metal,Plastic - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![Colour Primer Uniform Grey, 400 ml acrylic spray - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61FTJ+8R+jL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this metallic paint?** A: It has a metallic finish. But expect to use an extra layer of paint if you're painting over it with a light color. **Q: Will this work as a touch-up for a preprimed model?** A: I’d recommend going very light putting this over pre-primed figures. It can go on a little thicker than other sprays. Shake really well and spray at arm’s length. **Q: Is this the same shade as games workshops leadbelcher?** A: its is pretty close but not an exact match **Q: Do the metallic primers usually cause issues with coverage? I have the silver primer, the first model i sprayed has this slippery finish** A: It does have a glossy finish, I found that dry brushing another dark metallic paint on top of it worked. Worst case scenario, you could also go over it with a matte varnish to flatten it a bit. ## Frequently Bought Together - The Army Painter | Colour Primer | Acrylic Spray Uniform Grey 400 ml, Miniature Painting Primer - The Army Painter | Colour Primer | Acrylic Spray Matt Black 400 ml, Miniature Painting Primer - The Army Painter | Colour Primer | Acrylic Spray Matte White 400 ml, Miniature Painting Primer --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.id/products/4063060-colour-primer-uniform-grey-400-ml-acrylic-spray](https://www.desertcart.id/products/4063060-colour-primer-uniform-grey-400-ml-acrylic-spray) --- *Product available on Desertcart Indonesia* *Store origin: ID* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
