Was taking a family member to pelvic floor therapy for 5 months and the therapist was using this unit. She used it in the pelvic area, but also the back and hips. She was fantastic, but ended up moving to a different state. We bought one of these ourselves and just continued it self-administered. We had the advantage of watching the therapist do it first, but this unit is not difficult to use. And if you have questions about the different types of electrotherapies just go to YouTube for ideas. I chose this one because it also has the HAN TENS waves, which can be therapeutic for conditions like muscular dystrophy.
