These ARE the most affordable high-flow in-tank device I know of. The only problem seems to be that the magnet seems to lose its strength over a period of a few years. I use mine as a wave-maker. I have two that cycle on and off about every 90 seconds (for years). I do have to replace the magnet-propeller assembly every few years when it will not engage when the motor powers up.

Great mod for what it is. Makes a HUGE difference in flowI suggest using magnets to secure your mj though as the suction cups are horrible

It did not fit any of my powerheads (maxi-jets)....i spent 2 full weekends trying different variations as i have a few maxi-jets.... at no time would anything work, at all. There is not any support of any kind and in the end it was just an absolute waste of money.bought a maxijet just for this project $20... and this for $20+ ...i should have just spent $45 for Korilla - which i ended up doing anyways.

A very affordable way to move a lot of water. I love these little buggers. Why have they fallen off of the market.

I bought this to use with a cobalt MJ1200, it fits well and produces alot of flow. the only thing that i would reccomend would be to get the magnet mount. Other than that this product works.
