Anatomy & Physiology For Dummies

I wish I had gotten this book earlier. It covers all the essential anatomy concepts in a concise, easy-to-understand way and includes helpful colored diagrams. A must-have for anyone studying anatomy in college.

Love this book! I been using to help me retake anatomy 1 and 2 . It helped me a lot in Anatomy 1 ,I passed with a B so I definitely am going to use to anatomy 2 next semester! I definitely recommend this book to anyone that is taking these courses.

Very useful for educating and researching.

I bought this book for my niece, who is studying for the RHDS exam. She finds it good, as far as it goes. However, it's a little too basic for her needs. I am helping her study, and I see what she means. The entire section on the skeletal system only comprises pages 89 to 115, inclusive. In addition, we didn't like the use of humor in the book, but I think almost all of the "Dummies" books are written that way. If you're just looking for an overview of human anatomy and physiology, however, this will probably be okay. And, if you're a high school student, this should fill the bill as well. But for professional people, beyond the high school level, I think the book is a little light. It does contain diagrams, and it explains human anatomy and physiology in terms anyone can understand. If you stick with it, you can read it in a day easily. It wasn't a total loss for my niece; she just needs more.

Explains complex topics in a super friendly way. If you're struggling with anatomy in school, this book makes a big difference. Solid starting point and easy to follow.

This was very helpful while in nursing school. It breaks it down and makes it easier to understand each area. I wouldn’t have made it without this.

gave this book as a gift to a high school student studying A&P. It's perfect!!! Gives just the right amount of detail to stay interesting yet cover the subject matter. I totally recommend the book for anyone needing a good brush up of the subject as well as anyone intending a health science profession. I got this for my General Anatomy & Physiology class, on recommendation from a friend. It is so helpful! I like that it had plenty of information to supplement what I was learning in class. I passed the class and am now using it again in Advanced Anatomy & Physiology!

Worth getting if like me you need some help with anatomy and physiology. Easy to understand.

As medical student i don't advice people to buy the book because it does not have details and lacks very much image i for example muscles of upper limb or lower limb but very simple for people who are interested in not getting deeper into medical field

Great book with a ton of medical information. Anyone that wants to know more about the human body, how it works, how it's built up, how we our body does EVERYTHING, this is a very good choice. It is explained well, so you can understand everything, and if you get the workbook version too, you can study some very interesting stuff. Would recommend!
