Powerfully Bright Little Flashlight
>.. I have found these to be delightful flashlights. I powered mine with 14500 lithium-ion batteries that I bought elsewhere (not available on Amazon, unfortunately), they are more powerful than the AA batteries that also work. The AA has a 3.7V current, while the slightly larger 14500 have 4.8V power. The 14500 is rechargeable, as well. >.. But to the flashlight itself: it is small, easily smaller than most adult palms, it has a solid and tight clip for retention in a pocket, or as I have done, attach one to my key ring. The light on full power is very bright, and it has a lower power and a flashing light choice as well. Used with the 14500 batteries, it is as bright as the ones powered by bigger batteries in larger flashlights. I have not done any testing in a serious sense, but it claims 3 hours on the 14500 batteries (I assume on the lower power setting). I have tried it on AA batteries, and find it not as bright as with the others. >.. SELF DEFENSE ? I have seen flashlights being touted on some self-defense videos, and I would think that if one had nothing else, the bright flashing light may be disorienting. Close up and personal, the leading edge of the flashlight is a bit sharp and could scratch another's face or hands, but i do not think it would be disabling. >.. The flashlight is easy to carry in the pocket or purse, and useful in many ways if attached to the key chain. It will easily light your way in a dark location while returning from your car, or subway, for example. I have them placed around the house, as we get power losses in the cold months (trees down cutting the power) that can last for hours out to days. If there are replacement batteries already charged, one could just unscrew the bottom cap and replace the exhausted battery easily; and if no replacement, AA batteries will work as well.. But these are not intended to be the sole source of light in a power outage. >.. I really like these and have already given some to my wife and adult children with replacement batteries and a charger. These would make good small gifts for the winter holiday gift-giving!

ALWAYS A GUARANTEED WINNER FOR THE BEST TACTICAL SMALL AND LOW PRICED LIGHT
POSSIBLY THE BEST QUALITY AND VALUE FOR SMALLER TACTICAL FLASHLIGHTS EVER. I FOUND THIS DESIGN IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT NAME BRANDS AND I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE TACTICAL DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY THAT IS PART OF THIS TRULY PORTABLE ITEM. I MEAN YOU COULD EASILY SPEND A TON FOR VERY LITTLE EXTRA BY CHOOSING CERTAIN FAMOUS BRANDS. I CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY OF THESE FLASHLIGHTS BECAUSE THEY LAST FOREVER AND REQUIRE ONE AA Battery to let the well lumen output to also use the zoom and the modes of change by just lightly pressing the orange button on the back. From full power - lower lumens - to the blinking light that was originally used on pistols and law enforcement tactical lights to create a unique form of confusion to a possible attack. These are found in almost all my doctors and nurses and daughter’s friends and wife’s friends. I have not formally made it my mission to spread this exact light and the other similar but different named models to be part of a certain help for life and light!! But I do kinda see it this way !!!

GREAT VALUE FOR POCKET and-or SELF DEFENSE FLASHLIGHT
PRO: Solid little flashlight.;,,,features include having BRIGHT setting, LOW setting, and BLINKING setting. Low is convenient for situations where brighter light is not needed AND longer battery life may be required. Finish on aluminum body is decent. Size aluminum body with Tail Cap Switch to actuate the flashlight is IDEAL for using as self defense flashlight in one hand, keeping OTHER hand for holding firearm. Method of use too long to explain but requires a switch on end using thumb for turning on/off etc. LED is better than any bulb type flashlight. Clip keeps light handy on person or purse or Wherever so it's where you need it and WHEN. CON: Normally take ONE (1) Star off for long term durability until product Proves Itself. Also NOT brightest light for size. Having switch with OFF position between EACH setting is more nuisance than useful (personal preference issue). Personally keep so 1st click goes to HIGH or to Blinking setting.. If NON emergency then you'll have all time needed to cyle through clicks. WHY the sliding body is unknown at this time- having just received and little time spent. FYI: almost deducted ONE Star for NOT having batteries with the flashlights. YES-would add to cost of sale, Personal issue with product being sold which NEEDS a battery to function AND does NOT INCLUDE BATTERY NEEDED. Many customers may not look at details regarding WHAT TYPE of battery is needed and whether it's included or not. Not and not on hand, it's 15 miles and waste more than hour to get to closest store SELLING a battery which doesn't include anything outside AA, AAA or 9volt forget price. Walmart is 38 miles and hour drive ONE way.. so seller- ?? include batteries ??? BOTTOM LINE: What this flashlight has going for it, is VALUE/`. For what this flashlight cost (bought six, keeping three and three to give away) When you spec out features and compare to other products INCLUDING NAME products used by Law Enforcement departments, this is a really decent value, becoming a BARGAIN is durability is good- still to be determined. GREAT Value. Repeat customer. Bright an durable flashlight
I've had a mini flashlight on my EDC for about 6 or 7 years now and I have been through a few different brands here on Amazon. In the beginning I would buy based on price but I kept on finding that the KOOTEK brand was of higher quality (and maybe $1 more expensive if so much.) My most recent experience (with an older model) made me decide to write this review. It has lasted so long the paint is stripping and LED light fading. At least 3+ years of Every. Day. Carry. I use the 14500 battery to power them and my last one has lasted me so long I can't even remember where I kept the rest of them, or if I had given them away, so I am buying another pack that I know will last forever. Even though the design has changed a bit over the years the quality seems to remain the same. It is a great value proposition to spend ~$3 for one of these lights that I find so handy in everyday life. If I forget to carry it one day I always find myself reaching for it one way or another. I have given my mom, sister and wife to keep and I throw a few around my bed, house, car, etc. because they are so convenient. Even with AA batteries they are still great in a pinch. My EDC with the 14500 is extremely bright. Great product. Great price. Great value. Will continue buying these for the foreseeable future.

Best small flashlight in my experience
I just ordered five more. These little flashlights are fantastic. Very tight borders on the beam, which is great. No wasted light leakage beyond the borders. At wide beam the field is roughly the diameter as the distance from the target. So, from f5 feet away the beam diameter is about 5 feet. But the tight focus is about 12" wide from 20 feet. And I love that they use AA batteries instead of the idiotic AAA that are used in most small flashlights. A single AA has more total energy than 3 AAAs, and the manufacturing tolerances are much better. Buy these, put in a single lithium AA battery, that never leak, and you will have an emergency light for 20 years. Hard to beat.

good light, but the pocket clip sucks
I usually wear nylon rip stop trousers (pretty thin material), and clip the light to the inside of the waist pocket. I lost one light altogether-- found the broken clip in my pocket, and the clips on the other lights broke off after a few weeks of wear. The inexpensive price was attractive, and they put out very bright light in comparison to other 1 cell flashlights, I have used, but the pocket clips fail quickly I'm not not like the clip . is

These are a great value for the price!
They have a good brightness and the ability to focus the light beam makes it good for tight spaces. They are fairly durable too. I have one that I have dropped on concrete numerous times and it suffered no issues beyond the expected scuffing on the exterior. Getting 5 in the pack is great because I can put them in several places where I know I'll need them; kitchen drawer, glovebox of my car, my tool box, etc. The reason I bought this particular type is because we have some at my job where I sometimes have to work on the inside of machinery. I've had one at my desk at work for over 2 years and, while usually only average a couple minutes of use per month, I have yet to change the battery on it, so you this would be reliable for long term once-in-a-while use. I don't know about water resistance, but I have used them to take the dogs outside in the rain with no issues. They also have different modes that don't seem to be documented here or in the packaging. Clicking the switch successively will cycle through the 3 modes: bright light, medium light, strobe light (and then OFF).

Got all five and they all worked.
Like them thus far. Build quality seems good. It has some heft to the body and the buttons are stiff and functional. I've heard that the screws holding the belt clip we're missing or came out for some people. When I received the pack I checked to make sure all of the buttons clicked and all the screws where there. The main reason I like these is that they are very bright and only need a single AA battery. In an emergency you are always going to be struggling to find a second battery so the idea that you can have a functioning flashlight with just one is appealing to me. They suck to carry in your pocket for EDC. They are just too bulky and uncomfortable. But are great for emergency kits or you can leave them strune about the house for daily tasks. We have two kids and a always searching for this and that under the bed and these come in handy to grab fast. Just make sure you understand that they are cheap and coming from China where there is not the greatest quality control, so you may not get everything you expected. I lucked out that I got all five and they functioned. You may not be so lucky but that's what you get with Chinese mass production.

Buen producto
Las lamparas son pequeñas, ideales si no quieres que te roben mucho espacio en la maleta. La luz que generan es bastante buena. Muy recomendables.
