I used the OBD KEY FOB 99347-817 CN to program this key fob for my auto. Worked like a charm. Love this so I can program my on key. Do not have to pay to much at a shop. If you chose this system you will have to pay for the key and programmer. I have used this twice over the time I have owned this auto. It has paid for itself during this time. Would recommend if you plan to keep your auto for a length ot time.

Keyfob has a great OEM appearance and feel. It programmed successfully with ForScan, no issues. Key works great. A trip to the hardware store to get the key cut and we were off.

Who knew these remotes wouldn't last forever? 2013 Ford Flex remote quit working. Could be detected in the car so I could start and drive. Took it apart and sae that the touch operated switch was the problem. Ordered this replacement. Arrived quickly. Programming was easy enough. Some outfit was offering additional "keys" in the Costco parking lot a couple months ago. They wanted over $200 for the Flex so this was like 90% off. THANKS! By the way, this "Smart" remote has the hidden emergency key. I moved the old key from the old remote instead of getting the new one cut for the car.

I was unable to program it despite following the exact instructions provided. I would not recommend buying it

Worked exactly as hoped for. Must have two working fobs to program this one from your car. Several videos out there. Comes with battery. My key did not lock into case but snug enough to not worry. Followed steps to program and it set up perfectly. Took ford emblem off old and stuck it on this one. Since you must have two working key fobs I should have done this a long time ago. If you only have one you need a programmer or auto locksmith.

This fob works better than my broken ones however I feel that it doesn't catch at the distance the originals would and the trunk doesn't work the best.

I used this key to replace my key for my Ford Explorer 2015. I did not need the internals/data within the key however I needed the case since the silicone was broken on my original key. I went to the dealership and local car shops and they claimed it would cost more then 200 for each key to fix. I ordered two of these and all I did was take out the internal portion/board of the original key, and swap it with the one provided in this key and it worked perfectly. Saved me more then 300 dollars overall and after a few months have had no issues with the key.
