Superbly engineered
The engineering in this system is superb. As an engineer myself I can appreciate the dozens of little details in the system that had to have taken a lot of thought, time, and prototyping. First of all, the stackability. The boxes not only stack, but firmly fall into place so they don't slide off. They also lock together. On cases with a lid, a convenient recess for placing a label tape is visible even when stacked tightly. Of course, stacked and locked together is great for transportation, but not for day to day use. This is where the racking system comes into play. Dead simple to assemble and very sturdy. I will say that that carrier brackets gave me a lot of trouble until I realized it was all operator error. Using the wrong tool for the job. It is difficult to get the bolt to engage the nut with an Allen wrench, even a a good size t-handle wrench. However, a Allen bit on a 12 inch extension bit attached to a drill does the trick with no problem - it allows you to hold the bracket in place with one hand and drive the bolt home with the other. So as I say, this was totally my issue and not the bracket design. I would like to see one small design change here, however: Graduated markings on the square tubing to allow easy alignment of a pair of brackets would be great. A tape measure works, but takes time and is difficult to manage while holding the bracket in place. If I was to build these again, I would lay out all the square tubing together and mark them with a framing square. I have the small, medium and open tote cases and they are all great. I want to comment specifically on the small case though. It is an amazingly flexible case. You can leave all the plastic organizers in it and store small tools/parts, or remove some or all of them. One of my favorite features are the groves in the lid that catch the edges of the organizers - this means if you configure a case with only some of the organizers installed they are still captured securely and don't slide around - no matter where you place them. I have also found the small bins built into the lids to be helpful. These bins fold down and fall into slot molded into the edge of the case, which props the lid open and allows you to access the two bins without needing to hold the lid open. One of the bins is has no dividers, and the other is divided in to smaller sections. The case has handles on the sides, front, and top making it easy to cary anyway that is convenient.

DEWALT Garage Storage Rack is a MUST HAVE!
Great addition to my garage. It’s sturdy, holding up to 440 lbs, and perfect for keeping my tools organized. I love that it's easy to install on the wall, which helps save floor space, and it works well with DEWALT’s ToughSystem toolboxes. The rack feels super solid, and it’s made to last. While it’s a bit more expensive than other options, the quality makes it worth it. I’m so happy that I’m already thinking about getting more brackets to expand the storage.

Versatile system
This wall mount is the reason I went with the Dewalt storage. The Tough system 2.0 slides right on. I got the thee piece tower and the rolling box at the bottom tucks in underneath the other boxes. It's very compact and replaced a wire shelf, and makes getting to tools a breeze. If you have extra room the dolly with the same arms would be good also, but this is really versatile storage system. Much better than anything we used when I worked in high end trim and cabinet installs. The racking system takes it to the next level. * Edit to add a few more pictures. The wheel base large box, and the medium above that can hold a lot of tools. I can fit all my nailers, (framing, finish, brad, roofing) a circular saw, jig saw, all in the bottom large box, and in the middle one, charger, batteries, drills, multi tool. But would only need that many tools if I was a building a cabin for a month, and all seemed light and rolled around easy down stairs no problem, including extra boxes on top. The deep and shallow storage trays allows more layering, as most projects would just need some of the tools, and don't want to carry extra tools I won't need for that project. Then all the other boxes can add and create any configuration for that project. There are many other boxes and organizers I hang't mentioned as it would take too long. The top small box has two excellent container organizers to put smaller tools, fasteners. I'll try and post a few more reviews on the shelves and small organizer that are both excellent. This racking system allow a lot more boxes, organizers, and shelves. But the huge benefit is also keeping all the very small tools organized and easy access with the shelves, numerous organizers and removable trays and containers, then being able to select what tools you need. Unstacking the boxes at the job site ins't an issue as you have just the tools and supplies you need with trays and organizers to use as a work tray and your entire storage system is now organized.

Dewalt so it’s good!
Works great for the 2.0 system not XL. I do wish it was a little easier to adjust after it was mounted to the wall. Save yourself some time and decide how you want you boxes before install.

I even use this as a work bench
Each shelf holds up to a specific weight, and I don't use a lot of force when working on my projects because of convinence of power tools. Using this as my modular toolbox storage and as a work bench has been great, the rails have an opening that allow you to insert screws from under, or on top, to fix a board of wood to create a quick work surface. When I first got this I searched the internet all over asking, does the hardware come separately? The parts for the rails and the connection to the beams come in this package. When I originally got mine, it was missing a lot of the pieces. I notified dewalt and amazon and get this replaced within 2 todays, thank you prime. There is a lot of customization that can be done with these and allow you to pick your spacing for each tool box. I recommend that these be primarily used with dewalts drawer modular boxes, open handed totes and suitcase totes. In terms of hardware, such as fixing the rack to the wall, or floor, you will have to buy your own pieces, which I prefer.

It works ok
Works as should. The arms that hold the tool box's need to be stronger, and perfer they fold in when not in use. Should also come with another set or two of the security wall mount brackets. It holds tools, needs to hold actual weight.

Awesome buy if you have a lot of DEWALT ToughSystem Boxes!
I bought 2 of these for all my DEWALT ToughSystem boxes. They were very easy to assemble and install. The adjustable bracket heights make it easy to customize to your needs to accommodate whatever size boxes you have. Just like with the ToughSystem dolly, they slide and out of the bracket arms very easily and keep the boxes organized and up off the floor. I mounted a 4' shelf along the top of the 2 racks to hold bulky, non-Tough System items. The brackets to have a through-hole to run screws through to bolt down the shelf. The only cons I had... - Shelf system do NOT come with lag bolts/screws hardware to mount to the wall, so you'll need to get these yourself - One of my shelf systems came with the proper feet, and the other did not, but had extra end caps...not a big deal but they must have a slight problem with their packaging quality assurance. - Included bracket arms do not fold in, like on the cart, but if you buy/have extra fold-in arms they do mount to these shelf systems with no problem. Overall, I am very happy with these DEWALT shelf system and really helped me organize the clutter in my garage while still making my Tough System boxes easily accessible.

Not compatible with all Dewalt stacking systems,
Terrible design, not made for vans or anyone with decent heavy fixings, it’s flimsy, and massively over priced, it’s no good for me as my Dewalt collection is for work and not to be balance on this tripe

I love this system
I use the Xlarge box at work as my mobile box. At home I use the rack system and the open bins to hold everything from my circular saw and it’s blades in one, my ball joint and other specialty auto tools in another. In total I have over a dozen bins and boxes and can slide them on the rack and organization done. I bought 10 of the folding arms from the mobile rack system and made a frame in my trailer that clips into my E-track. Trailer stays tightly organized yet I can remove everything back to the E-track on the walls. That rack is my upgrade on the van rack system from Dewalt that I can no longer find. It’s awesome in that it stays tightly packed but you pull one bin off the rack and you have full access and then boom it is put away again. Cooking supplies are out of the way until I really need them. Tools same thing. I even keep room temp water bottles in one and feed the cooler as cold ones are taken out. Add the double drawer box and the rack works even better for smaller items. I can’t say enough good about this system. Cost me a fair bit in the end but this will last my lifetime.

Brackets don't fold!
I have the trolley, so this seemed like a good idea, but I was very disappointed to find the brackets that come with this rack are fixed and not foldable, so always stick out, which is a bit crap when rails are empty, and even more annoying to find the folding brackets as supplied on the trolley (and available separately) DO fit this rack. Grrrrrrrrr
