V3 Pro Cream Black Keyboard Switch with Dustproof Stem for Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, 5-Pin Linear Switches for Gaming Keyboard(45pcs)

Has an amazing sound, nice and satisfying feel when typing- good for gaming too since it's linear and easy to push down. I've tried quite a few switches now and I keep coming back to V3 Pro Cream Black, I've opened them up and noticed factory lube was quite thorough and applying my own lube didn't make much difference so it's pretty great stock. I do wish they sold these in a bag or bottle in different quantities- I've ended up with a corner of my room filled with these little Akko boxes.

Great switch, upgraded my first build from outemu browns and these feel and sound great, not a fan of linear switches but the weight of these are perfect for everyday typing and gaming, never accidentally double tapping a key unlike the outemu reds which are too light. Will be using them in future builds going forward and keen to try out the rest of the line.

its really nice sound but its slightly loud but if you lube them they are super quiet 9/10 for how it came and 10/10 when lubed would recommend.

Coming from cherry MX Browns, it's a dream to use these heavy linear switches. They were advertised as 3 pin, but 5 pin is what I got. But if you're careful and willing to risk damaging the metal pins, you can simply use a nail clipper to remove the 4th and 5th plastic pin if your board only takes 3 pin switches. I also think they are factory lubed by how they sound, but not 100% sure. The box they arrived in said "cream black v3 pro". Highly recommend trying these out if you're in the mood to change up your keyboard.

I purchased the Akko jelly black's for my one and only DIY keyboard. Originally I had a Corsair K70 mk2 with cherry reds, which was fine. But this DIY one was Lego and I am a sucker for anything Lego. My DIY kit was a gasket mount style with extra padding to fill the space between the PCB and the bottom of the case. With this combination the jelly blacks sound absolutely divine! They came pre-lubed and was a breeze placing them in the PCB. The packaging was a lot nicer than I was expecting and came with not a single bent pin. Comparing to the cherry reds that I had been using for 2 years prior I can say for certain that the typing and gaming feel of the Akko switches are as good if not better than what I had gotten used to. Its safe to say that any future Keyboards I build will be using the Akko Jelly black switches.

Nice cream black switches from Akko I will say if you are in the market for modifying your keyboard and want a nice switch to go inside I'd recommend these but for a smoother and personally a better experience crack them open and lube them up for a nicer typing sound. I did have a few switches which did not work at all but that's fine honestly out of the bunch I got 3 were duds which isn't bad at all. These are 5 pin so before ordering do make sure they are compatible with your keyboard.
