Ok, it's a replacement socket. It's functional and fairly well made. It is a three way so be prepared with a three way bulb. Rather easy to assemble.

I purchased these to put on two lamps that I've had for years and I didn't want to trash them because they're keepsakes from our early years of marriage. This was a great value for the money, the lamps works like new and my husband said it was very easy to rewire and install. I recommend them and I am.very pleased with the outcome.

Very satisfactory, easy to replace the loose socket on my lamp with this. Seems well made and study, nice switch action. Cheaper and easier than finding a new lamp, especially as the current one is beautifully made.

This is an excellent 3-way light bulb socket replacement. It has an excellent finish and is very well made. Hard to find US parts anymore and the one this replaced was made in China as is this one. This one I put on a table lamp. The socket for the screw mount for the base (not the bulb) was not quite as deep as the old one. But was not an issue to account for. I have tested it for an hour or so on all the 3- lightbulb levels. No issues and works a bunch better than the old one that would pop and “fizz” as you tried to use it. Very satisfied. Price is a good value.

Came in perfect shape. No defects! Awesome. Great way to repair my 20+ year old lamp/table combo. It’s all built together. The lamp is an integral piece. Very happy. Not too hard to fix. Just remember to unplug it first, and take a picture of the connections. Easy peasy
