WWE 2K22 - PlayStation 5

For those of you asking if it actually hits different, boy do I have news for you. Not only does it hit you different, it’s so realistic that you can actually smell what The Rock is cooking this time. The graphics are for sure on another level compared to previous games. All thanks to the new game engine they used. Solid frames, 60 fps no issues.. runs so smooth. Roster is pretty huge, especially if you get deluxe edition which comes with the season pass and bonus Undertaker content. Only sad thing about it is that they included a couple of old timers but not all of the big faces of WWE that would make you want to call this the “Dream Roster” in this new generation of consoles. Lots of modes and play styles for you to choose from, not to mention that they also added back myGM mode for those of you who were into that from older games. Rate: 9/10 Summary: Best WWE 2K game up to date for sure, not one of the best rosters but there is a wide variety of superstars to choose from. This is one of those games where I could play a couple random matches one day, stop playing it for a month, start playing it again and still have the same excitement. If you’re a hardcore fan, get the deluxe edition. If you’re a hardcore fan and on a budget, wait for sale. Game will drop down to $20-$30 by the end of year before you know it and then you could just buy the season pass for $30 later on unless they put the Deluxe edition for sale. If you’re a hardcore fan and on a budget but can’t wait for end of year sale, then wtf you waiting for? Buy it now!

This game is great. I haven't played a wrestling game since wrestlemania 2000 on N64. This one was just as good.

Wwe 2k22 is a great game! The most obvious improvement are the graphics. The visuals and the overall presentation of the wrestlers in this game are insane! I rarely skip the entrances. It looks like you're actually watching the real thing on tv. The gameplay is also fun. The controls takes some getting used to, but it is a definite improvement from before. There are still glitches. This game crashed on me several times while I was editing my CAW's entrance, but overall, it's a fun game to play. If you're a wrestling fan, this is a must-buy.

2K has made a HUGE comeback after 2K20! WWE 2K22 is so much fun and everything from the superstars, presentation, and championships look so crisp! 2K19 was the best one in this franchise but after the release of 2K22….. 2K22 takes it! One minor thing that I dislike that they took off the game is the ability to see instant replays after each match :/ You can still see a version of match highlights but you have to go one by one instead of a highlight reel. UPDATE: Haven't played a WWE game that I totally forgot that you have to go to settings to turn on the review a replay option to get the match replay automatically after a match! I don’t think you had to do that for 2K19 but there’s that. Once again tho, pretty awesome game where if you really put the effort to have an enjoyable time and learn the new control system…. it’s up there for one of the best wrestling games out there

I purchased WWE 2K22 for my son, who is a huge WWE fan, and he couldn’t be happier! The game looks amazing—the graphics are sharp, the wrestlers look realistic, and the animations are smooth and exciting. From the entrances to the moves in the ring, everything feels true to the real WWE experience. What he really enjoys is the wide selection of wrestlers, both current superstars and legends. The game modes are fun and offer a lot of variety, especially the MyRISE and Universe modes that let him create his own stories and rivalries. He also spends hours customizing his own characters, which is a huge bonus feature for creative fans. Gameplay feels much improved compared to previous versions—more responsive and enjoyable. This was definitely a great buy and a perfect gift for any young wrestling fan. Highly recommend it for anyone with a WWE-obsessed child (or adult!) in the house!
