Used on 8.5mm spark plug wires. Only flaw is that I had to “start” the crimp with a needle nose set of pliers prior to inserting into these pliers. The problem was they want $50.00 just for the pair of dies. I bought this tool for 1/2 that price! I used them for the first time this past weekend and it made the job quick and easy. Each crimp was rock solid. My plug wires were Taylor Thundervolt 8.2mm wires and the crimper handled them perfectly.
