I bought them, needing the hard toe for offshore work. Although I am in the office most of the day, I do go out on deck frequently. Also, I wear these on my days off, at home. If you just need a casual boot for light / medium duty work, these are the boots for you. I still wear my first two pairs intermittently at home. Now, for the negative, they are definitely not waterproof (The company does make a waterproof pair). The soft thin leather will not hold up along the creases, when constantly wet, so I wear my waterproof boots when needed. Pros: Super comfortable. Easy on / off with Side Zip. Well made. Break-in time is short. Airport friendly. Cons: Some minor stitching issues on pull on tab at the back and the Velcro tab on the side. Great fit, good durability, and great price.
